I’ve seen a lot of discussion around different marketplaces, and eBay still comes up often when talking about making money online. Some people say it is harder now because of fees and competition, while others still report steady results with the right approach.
From what I’ve observed, eBay seems to work best for sellers who focus on a specific product category and understand pricing, sourcing, and customer expectations. It also looks like consistency and good account health matter more than trying to scale too fast.
I’d like to hear from members who are currently using eBay. Do you think it is still worth starting from scratch in 2026? What challenges do new sellers face today compared to previous years? Would you recommend eBay over other marketplaces for beginners?
Looking forward to learning from real experiences shared here.
