Why is everyone using AI is so hellbent on replacing humans?

But the second point is what really got me thinking — the idea that a normal person can't even judge if AI output is correct because they lack domain expertise. So esentially they wouldn't even know when somthing is wrong untill it's to late?

Has anyone here actualy experienced a situation where AI produced something that looked completly fine on the surface but turned out to be badly wrong — and you only found out because someone with real expertise pointed it out?

Yes, I have faced some hallucinations.

It failed to calculate the time required to download a 32 gigabytes file at 4 megabits per second speed. The correct answer would have been ~17 hours but it told me 2.5 hours. Why? Because it mistook 4 megabits for 4 megabytes. Only someone who studied basics of computer science would be able to catch an error like this.

But a normal personal would believe their file will be downloaded in 2.5 hours instead of 17! This is really basic maths and AI still hallucinated lol

AI has definitely improved productivity but I wouldn't rely on it without checking the results. It works well as a tool, especially for routine work, but complex tasks still need someone who knows what they're doing.
 
I think people are mistaken in thinking of replacing employees with AI, when in reality they are only replacing a part of the workflow.
Automation systems only work effectively because their creators have spent a lot of time building business knowledge, brand tone, attention, rules, and how the AI operates in each situation. AI doesn't operate independently; it follows a carefully designed process.
I feel that the cost of AI isn't always cheaper than humans when considering the cost of using tokens and infrastructure.
I argue that AI can replace much of the skilled work once the process is well understood and systematized, but I wouldn't think AI would work unsupervised.
 
Simple: the brain of mankind invented from the "Gods" who never were gods, who created us from chimpanzees, "they" created a group of humans the 1% elite and the rest- us. So since thousands of years "they" know how to manipulate you.
 
AI took certain words from us, words we can't use in writing anymore, else people would say it's AI generated, replacing humans from doing their jobs is not the only threat, AI will replace the way humans write not to sound like AI.

Which words AI took from us to can't not use in writing anymore? Never heard of that.
 
Everyone is hellbent on saving costs and working with speed. No need to wait for 24-48 hour TAT's or pay outrageous prices for freelancers with egos. I give it 2 years before the work AI fully replaces many of the work freelancers can do.

Systematize, Standardize, benchmarks, orchestrating, leveraging, etc. are AI buzzwords, detectors target such words and call it out as AI generated.

OK but never heard that these are AI buzz words.....in many human articles you find these words too. Scam gimmick of these AI detector tools I would dsay.

Soon, people will start calling out content which use accurate grammar and punctuation as AI slop
