Can someone get my account banned if I don't post or comment?

If someone is posting, then someone else can buy votes and get them banned. If someone doesn't post or comment anything are they safe from someone else getting them banned? Am I overlooking any account vulnerability besides Reddit admin risk?

Many reports also on your content may get you banned even when you are not using the account

If the account has zero public footprint (no posts/comments), external actors can't target it. Malicious bots need a specific post or comment ID to execute report spam or vote manipulation.
Your only real risk is Reddit's internal backend filters:
Footprint leaks: Using recycled proxies or a dirty browser profile linked to old bans will trigger a delayed shadowban.
Velocity spikes: Going from 100% silent to heavy scraping, upvoting, or DMs without warming it up triggers an instant lock.
Keep the IP clean, isolate the browser telemetry, and nobody can touch it.

If you're not posting or commenting the risk of user triggered reports is generally much lower However no account is completely immune so its still worth keeping your account secure and following the platforms policies.
