Are Tiktok Business accounts getting less promotion?

Business accounts do get slight reach restrictions. Try placing your link in pinned comments and video captions to divert traffic safely.

Personally I'd stay with a personal account at first. It's easier to get views, and you can always switch later.

Hello everyone, this is my first post here.
I have recently started using Tiktok to drive some traffic to my website.
As everyone knows, in videos links are not clickable and as far as I know only business accounts can have clickable links in their Bio

But the more I research this, the more I see that people say business accounts get less views, likes and traffic in general which would be a big problem.

I would love to hear your guys expertise on this and if anyone knows another trick to get the links to work without a business account I am open for all suggestions
Business accounts don't suffer lower reach directly, but rather from commercial audio restrictions and overly promotional content, making the best strategy using a Personal Account to hit 1,000 followers to unlock the organic bio link while fully capitalizing on viral sounds.

If you're not ready to switch, focus on building engagement first and guide viewers to your bio with a clear call to action. Once you're getting consistent traffic, test a business account and compare the results instead of relying on rumors.

There's no solid evidence that TikTok intentionally suppresses Business accounts. Strong content, watch time, and engagement have a much bigger impact on reach. Many creators start with a personal account to grow, then switch to a Business account when they need the clickable bio link.

I've heard people say that too, but I haven't seen convincing proof that business accounts are automatically suppressed. In my experience, content quality has had a much bigger impact than the account type. If having a clickable link is important for your business, I'd use a business account and focus on making videos people actually want to watch.

business accounts usually affect reach a bit, but you can still drive traffic by using a clear call to action like “link in bio”

However many people r very much obsessed with the type of account yet the strategy behind the content is more important. Uh get some advantages in terms of conversion if u have a business account yet a personal one is good for reaching out to ppl. u can experiment with both types of accounts nd try to enggage the viewers in such a way that they check ur proffile.
