For me, the biggest change wasn't publishing more articles—it was targeting topics closer to a buying decision. One well-ranked article with strong intent often earned more than dozens of informational posts. The timeline varies, but getting the right traffic matters more than getting a lot of traffic.
BTW i didn't work on ads i get traffic and flip them

For me it took around 7-8 months, and honestly the turning point wasn't traffic volume at all. It was matching the right monetization method to the intent of the page.
Informational posts made almost nothing on ads, but once I added affiliate offers to a few comparison and "best X" articles, that first $100 came fast. Same traffic, completely different revenue. Picking how you monetize each page matters as much as ranking it
Around 5 months. The greatest impact would be posting consistently and doing internal linking, as well as driving a portion of my traffic from pinterest.how long did it take your blog to generate its first $100 from organic traffic and what had the biggest impact?

It took right around six months from the day I started with nothing but a free domain to actually seeing that first real dollar come in. So it was not fast, and there were plenty of stretches where it felt like nothing was moving at all. If I had to point to what had the biggest impact, it was staying consistent with content even when there was no traffic to show for it in the early months, combined with actually fixing and improving old posts instead of just publishing and moving on. That groundwork is what eventually built up enough trust and traffic for real inquiries to start coming in. The real turning point, though, was landing a DMC partnership. The traffic alone was not converting into income until I had something actual to offer people who reached out, a proper service instead of just content. Once that piece was in place, the first sale followed pretty quickly.
Usually 3 to 6 months and the biggest difference is targeting low competition, high intent keywords that actually convert not just traffic
