Is Facebook advertising still effective?

Yes. Facebook advertising remains highly effective, but the way it operates differs significantly from a few years ago. Success depends on the product, the implementation strategy, and the ability to optimize campaigns.

FB Ads still work, but they're definitely more competitive than before. I've seen good results with e-commerce, local services, education, SaaS, and health niches. In many cases, better creatives and landing pages make a bigger difference than the niche itself

Are Facebook ads still effective? Which industries are still effective for Facebook ads?
My clients in Asia are all campaigns are getting more expensive, and it is not as effective as expected.

It’s highly effective, but the bottleneck isn't the creative—it's data degradation and pixel attribution fatigue. Standard campaigns targeting Asia are getting hit with massive CPC inflation because basic interest-based targeting pools are completely oversaturated and polluted with non-converting bot traffic.
To bring acquisition costs down, you have to pivot from standard interest segments to hard server-side Conversions API (CAPI) infrastructure. Feeding Meta's machine learning model clean first-party data events directly from the server—bypassing browser tracking blocks—sharpens the audience optimization loop aggressively. When the algorithm receives instant, high-intent signal tokens, it stops burning ad spend on dead view pools and locks into true buyers. Are your clients running basic browser pixel tracking, or have you migrated them over to full CAPI setups?

From what I've seen, Facebook advertising is still effective, but things have become more difficult than before.

although some indicator is getting more expensive, we can't deny that facebook ads is still effective and help many people get money, even a lot.

With growing AI tools almost evey social media platform seems secondary importance for advertisement.
However, Facebook can still play effective role when it is used for local branding only.

Yes they do works still amazing for some companies/peoples but depend on the product. Some ads have become to expensive to make any money so if you dont have a proper product you will not get any sale or very poor conversion and will not work for you

Facebook ad is still effective if you use it properly. If you have a good niche and good content then you can achieve your goal by running ads.

Well it's like a billion users. Key there is to target as specifically as possible. Narrow your demographics down to pinpoint

Yes Facebook Ads can still be very effective but results vary by industry and competition

Fb advertisements remain equally effective however the thousand impressions for Asian markets has risen very quickly and therefore is no longer as affordable as it once was.with safer niche products such as fashion accessories, spas ,gyms and online courses ,one can achieve a healthy ROI as long as the creative and targeting are sound.

Yes, Facebook advertising remains highly effective in 2026, but the strategies for running successful campaigns differ significantly from those of a few years ago.

I find Facebook advertising to be very effective, especially in the food and fashion sectors.

Yeah, Facebook ads are still effective, but they are definitely more competitive now. A lot of clients see higher costs because everyone is fighting for the same audiences. The platform itself isn't dead, but the old strategy of running one ad and letting it sit for months doesn't work anymore.

If ads become expensive, you should try new creatives. Sometimes the audience gets tired of seeing the same ad again and again.
