From my experience, the smoothest method is to transfer the complete website, including both the files and the database, instead of sending only the database. If the new owner is using a different hosting provider, a migration plugin or a full backup usually makes the process much easier. Once the site is working on the new host, you can transfer the domain ownership separately. This approach helps avoid missing files and other migration issues.

I Usually transfer the domain to the buyer's register account and migrate the site with a full backup (files + database). It's cleaner, faster, and avoids giving away hosting access.

As far as I know, the easiest way is to transfer the domain through Hostinger (or your registrar) to the new owner. After that, you can export the website files and database and hand them over so they can restore everything on their hosting. That's the method I'm familiar with, but I'd be interested to know how others usually handle website transfers.

A domain transfer through the registrar is usually the safest option. just make sure all ownership details are updated after the transfer.

A complete backup before transferring is worth doing. It makes it much easier to restore the site if something goes wrong during the move.

If it's a Wordpress site, just install All in one WP migration plugin, export the site and download the backup files and send it to the other person.
Then transfer the domain name to the other person, have them install wordpress and All in one WP migration plugin and then import the bsckup files.

best way depends on the type of website and hosting setup i usually move the complete website files and database then update the domain settings once the new owner has access
for WordPress sites migration plugins can make process easier but for larger websites i prefer taking a proper backup and checking everything manually before handing it over i would make sure all logins email SSL backups and thirdparty services are transferred properly small details are often missed during website transfers
