Lots of articles on this, but basically it is all about authority. Google wants you to prove to them that you are qualified to recommend a product or service, so they can trust you.

Depending on your niche, this can be easy to fix. Other niches like health, it is a pain in the arse.
At the end I did heard about the terms in another language, but I do recognize i didn't know much about it, thanks for the articles and all your help, appreciate it!

I will do only two things
  • Start with on-page SEO
  • Build Backlinks
In on pages section
  • Find my top pages
  • Internal link with proper anchor text
  • Optimized Title
  • Optimized meta
It does not work then I research more about my competitors and find their week points and improve on my site. Also sometimes I update my content.

And my last step is to build backlinks from an authoritative site.
Then after a few days, I saw my exact result.

Great insights, has all the steps i'd have followed. Thank you Mohammad!

IF google is ranking another page over one you have optimised for a KW then:

1. You need to see why its doing that and what have you done on the "wrong page"

or

2. Depending on how old your site is you need to give it some time.

I'm not sure if that is what your asking...

Id not touch or edit the "wrong page" that much though...

That's true, unless the site has some age you can't really judge with much accuracy what you are doing right or not in terms of ranking. Could have the best article on the subject and still be on page 2.

By me I meant websites with 2 months old trying to outrank well established sites. 5 years old is more than enough to outrank competitors through proper content/SEO strategy

Make your on-Page SEO with perfection, Build links from high authority sites, Increase the page loading speed & And try to Get the social media signals.

Would you recommend me posting to my sites blog daily for about a month, then start to reach out for links?

No.

1. First target low competitive keywords
2. Write in detail the article with proper structure. As usual, we can there are lots of website ranks without backlinks.

That's why my recommendation is to write in detail content 1st and wait.

If your site is only 2months old.

Your organic strategy should be going after all of the long tails / low competitive one and "people also search for" . If you are using a keyword tool and can get that data exported with the keyword search volume (I think them kind of tools are a bit of a waste at the mo) then I would start to aim for everything with 100 searches or less per month.

Go and snap up all of the stuff bigger sites don't or won't bother with. Once you done that go for everything with 101-200 searches per month. The time you get through a decent keyword list, that's going to take a you a few months of work.

As I always say if your main keyword is 5000 searches per month and if you can rank for 50 x 100 searches per month. That gives you the same traffic!

You will have to build more back links in my opinion. Then only rankings will improve and your blog will move up.

Buy some pbn links and your site will come to page 1 from page 2_3_4 page.

Try to do some on-page optimization and update unique quality of content with new trend content and improve internal link structure and promote in social media.

Don't give Guarantee for Page1 Results. But, Backlinks works Will get the Best Results ( PBN, Guest Post )

Before adding more content, I would compare the page against the current results and identify the actual gap: intent, depth, freshness, internal support, or user experience. Sometimes a tighter title and better answer structure are enough. If the page already satisfies the query, then, you know, a few legitimate relevant mentions may be the missing trust signal. They key is making one measured improvement at a time instead of changing everything and losing the ability to learn from it.

You provided good remarks but thns thread is quite old.

I usually start by checking search intent and improving the existing content before adding more updating sections improving internal links and making the page more useful for users can often help push it closer to page 1

BHW is a great place for learning and one where I always use as a "doubt" source.

So, instead of "closing" myself under my own methods, I'm curious on how YOU work to take a page from page 2-3-4 to page 1.

This is taking into account that results from page 1 do not have too much authority or backlinks (maybe in the 10s) and you have some authority 20s-30s.

What would you address? CTR boosting, adding content, looking for related keywords to the one ranking on page 2?

Let me know how a pro does it :)
For me, I wouldn't start by blindly building more links. I'd first check why the page is stuck there.

I usually look at the content gap against the top results, search intent, internal linking, and whether the page is actually targeting the right terms. If the page is already close to page 1, improving the content and adding relevant internal links can sometimes be enough. If competitors have a clear authority advantage, then I'd consider building a few relevant links as well.

I don't think CTR alone is usually the first thing I'd focus on unless the page already has strong impressions and a poor CTR.

For me, pushing an entire site from positions 2–4 up to rank #1 is extremely tough and resource-heavy.

So instead, I focus on low-competition, high-potential niche content and keywords where I can realistically beat out competitors for the page 1

Do a proper keyword research and built a quality content which meets today GEO aspects with strong technical SEO.

Then as a next step build backlinks into the relevant niche. Then your domain will be in page one #1
