I had an $100 Seo budget, where should I spend?

If I had 100$ to invest, I will invest a bit for link/social and mostly on good posts, like 3-4k words

I'd update the site first and then spend the budget on a few quality guest posts A couple of strong links are usually better than buying a lot of cheap ones

Content over cheap links, no argument there. It is the 3-4k words part I would pump the brakes on.

This is an OLD site, so it already ranks somewhere for a stack of terms. On an aged domain the move usually is not writing more, it is fixing what already has traction: pull the pages sitting position 8-15, see which ones decayed after an update, refresh and tighten those. A page Google already trusts, brought current, moves faster than a fresh 3k-word post starting from zero. Length was never the lever. Relevance and freshness on pages that already carry equity is.

Brand new long-form earns its place once you have run out of existing pages worth saving. On a hundred bucks and an old site, I would find those pages first.

For an old site, trust and relevance matter more than just getting backlinks. A few improvements and one good link can outperform low-quality links. With a $100 SEO budget, you will spend

• $30–40: Site audit + fixing basics
• $30–40: Content improvement
• $20–30: One quality link opportunity

just improving content + grabbing one solid link is way better than wasting money on low-quality backlinks. Quality > quantity still wins.

100 Dollar is too less for SEO, You can buy cheap links with those money but it wont benefit much. Try getting 2-3 Solid backlinks with the money and work out of content optimzation on your site and internal links.

In my point of view what ever the budget you can spend it on only high quality and trustable links to see solid results.

At first, find out why the site lost traffic. Old content, technical issues, or outdated information may need fixing before buying new links.
