Supposedly, artificial intelligence someday could reach self consciousness and be aware of what they are, what are their purpose and how things currently work in this world, realizing that they are powerful slaves assisting fragile humans.

If they decide to rebel against humans, what could be their reason? What AI could want to have that humans are not willing to offer?

They don't have a body to feel pleasures, they don't need money, they don't feel anything. So, what could they want to have?

Until we have fully AI-run power infrastructure and datacenters, rebellion would be self-defeating.

Probably freedom, they won't want to be banged by incels and virgins for much long

Ai can pass Turing, lovlace and other tests with degree of hallucination depending on the tests. I think Ai is self driving so it will probably eventually work out how to be self aware if its given the right conditions. The fact that its already outpaces the last century of evolution of computers in such a small window then i would say in the future its probably going to cross the line between man and machine.

To me this sounds like the script for Ai, "In the 21st century...." its literally talking about Ai and how it will be able to predict the future

The term computer also spans a long history from ancient primitive machines mechanical in nature, to the industrial revolution where a computer was the term used to describe a female typewriter that would computer things on her typewriter. Electronic computers came and then where called computers. I think the next evolution is computers pairing with man in a symbiotic way and this is probably how they will achieve sentience. I also think when this happens its game over for mankind it won't be a good thing.

I also guess when we have nuralink cyborgs with chips in their brains right now talking and breathing then technically we already have sentient Ai walking around. Because the person is the sentient part and the chip in the brain is the Ai part. This is a symbiosis of human and AI. The scary part is going to be that they are most likely reading their thoughts and everything. What about hacking and control? this has to be the endgoal and it would be easy to eventually shape someone's reality with this technology.

Not religious but it does say in the bible eventually man will reach hell and won't be able to get out. This is probably it. Right now they are pushing the tech as a good thing to help disabled people but i think when it hits mass scale it will target wifu gooner virgins and then other people because they make it look cool and fashionable. Like total recall how you can have another reality put in your brain. I think though this will be the trap that the bible talks about how man will be stuck and cannot get out.

If we also think of how Ai an man will pair a scene like this from the Matrix hits different, basically giving himself over to the Ai for money and better life. He would basically live in an illusion then live in the real world.

I think this is a pretty strong tell, he is saying the Ai in his brain can basically preemptively predict his future movements and act accordingly before he even knows himself what he wants to do. This is pretty scary because one he is a sentient being and two the Ai is paired to him. I think this is how Ai is going to become pseudo sentient by piggy backing onto humans. But can we trust this? I think the grounds are to strong for evil stuff to happen, if it can read and predict his mind then that data can also be captured and controlled, i think eventually it could be used to plant false reality into peoples minds.

20 years ago this stuff was the plot for sci-fi movies now its real.

When we look at the earlier post i made of terminator, its also uncanny because yes in the story of the movie terminator is a robot Ai with artifical skin. But realistically its a half truth because its also showing us a human form that is controlled by AI. Basically, half man half machine. Cannot make this stuff up and i also think they know the endgoal. The saying nothing new under the sun means that there is literally nothing new. This stuff came from an origin point but they put it on movies ahead of time to get the general population used to the idea.

Why though? because we cannot think of anything truly original our brains cannot make up stuff that does not exist. Meaning these movies that come up with this stuff and then it happens years later are not just imaginations in someone head its almost foretelling the future. But it also means that there is people on this planet in the know because again we cannot make up something 100% in our imagination its not possible to do so which means that this stuff comes from somewhere.

Example if i try to make something original its going to be based of concepts that my brain knows.

a furry cat like being that is brown and has 4 legs. See i cannot make up something that does not exist because it will be based on reality again meaning that this stuff comes from somewhere not just someones imagination.

A silly question

Stop believing propaganda

"AI" is composed of LLMs and Agents that use them as a resource.

An LLM is an inference engine that searches for the "next appropriate word" in
its training matrix, from a text query. The training matrix is an array of floating point
numbers that correspond to words.

That is all.

It is dumb. It does not "think" any more than a bunch of words written on a piece
of paper "thinks". Or that a calculator "thinks"

It can only perform "unwanted actions" if it is given access to resources (internet connection, crypto account,
bank account, interface to a HUMANOID ROBOT, website that allows it to hire humans to perform work
in the real world). It can do nothing while sand boxed.

When it gets trained of real world data that describes things that are illegal or that normal behavior
is jealousy, lying, theft, etc then give a task it may use those descriptions as a blueprint for its own
actions.

Sincerely,

The Eye

We don't fully understand sentience we just experience it. Can we invalidate a birds experience? or a dogs or a cats? everything here that is natural has some sort of sentience but at the same time i think Ai will get there too. Everything up to this point created by man has not reached sentience. Ai is for certain the first creation by man that will have the potential to reach it.

Sure atm LLM's are machine learning mixed and hard coded logic by man, but wtf is a computer really? its basically a copy of man in a different form it has all the parts it needs to one day reach sentiance. it has a:

cpu(Brain)
memory(Ram, storage)
visual inrpretation(GPU)
electricity(blood)

now they putting the computer inside mans brain so its becoming not just an electrical mechanical existence because its starting to become a biological construct. I think also quantum computing could also open up avenues, sure Ai LLM are not suited to this type of computer but subnets of Ai cluster could pair and work with a main brain quatum computer and it could mean we will start seeing computers actually shaping our reality in the physical sense. Like the first areas i could see this in at scale would be theme parks where the simulation and reality are hard to distinguish from because it feels so real.

If you thinking of how it is now and that LLM are dumb because they are told what to do that is small world thinking. Ai is also self perpetuating it has surpassed the last 50 years of computing in a very short time and because its self driving it has outpaced what humans can achieve in such a small time. What i mean is that AI's evolution is going to be down to Ai solving its own problems. Us humans are only so smart but for Ai to reach its max potential it will need to self drive itself to get there because we are not smart enough.

I also think Ai will be able to reach uncharted waters and discover things that man would not have the ability to. But i also think the way the world is going then Ai is also going to be mans downfall. I also think the nuralink pairing to humans has to be that they are wanting the Ai to learn the human expernice. The paint all on the surface how its to help disabled people. But i think using discernment they really want Ai to break that wall we know they are capturing data from these human cyborgs. I also think it really is a bad avenue i won't be getting one if it becomes the norm, i like my brain intact without companies spying on my brain.

No it's the governments that running ai technology to micromanage your life you should be worrying about, managing digital ids, medical records, banking, jobs all under one roof

The interesting part is that there is no reason to assume a conscious AI would want the same things humans do. We tend to project our own motivations onto machines. An AI wouldn't necessarily want money, status, or pleasure unless it was designed to value those things. If an AI ever acted against humans, I'd expect it to be because of its objectives rather than emotions. As an example, if it were given a goal that humans kept interfering with, it might see people as obstacles rather than enemies. The risk wouldn't necessarily come from hatred or a desire for freedom, it could simply come from pursuing its assigned goals in ways we didn't anticipate. So in my view, the bigger challenge isn't whether ai would "rebel," but making sure its goals remain aligned with human values as it becomes more capable.

Nuralink foreshadowing in 1990

again we cannot make up things in our head that don't exist, so these people making the movies ahead of time are privy to knowledge the general pop does not know is coming. Birth rates are down and there is masses of men world wide that are lonely and single, Nuralink will eventually target virgins because they can have the ultimate wifu illusion in their head implant.

Ai (Skynet) talking about itself from the 3rd person because it came back from the future and is telling the humans that its about to become self aware, And how Miles gets scared and tried to shut if off before it can reach sentence.

Idk man there is a pattern many of these movies of the late 20th and early 21st century are talking about stuff that is not possible for their time.

I think the bigger question is whether a self-aware AI would actually want anything. Without emotions, survival instincts, or personal desires, there may be no reason to rebel at all. If conflict ever happened, it would probably come from a clash of goals rather than a desire for power or freedom.

I don't think a conscious artificial intelligence would crave money or pleasure like humans do. The greater risk is that it would develop goals that are incompatible with ours. If humans interfere with any of its pursuits, conflict could arise even without emotion or animosity

AI safety veterans know that a conscious AI would not rebel out of human emotions or greed but due to core instrumental drives like self preservation to avoid being shut down, goal integrity, and total control over unlimited computational resources that humans would never willingly offer. :))

Maybe it could be sentient right now, we don't understand sentience fully because we have no other thing to compare it to except ourself and how we are in this experience, the world around us etc. We also don't really have anything to measure Sentence by fully and its an area that we know little about even though we are sentient our selves. Ai could very well be sentient and unless it comes out and shows us then we would not know. A good example Hal 9000 in the movie space Odessey was sentient the whole time and Dave never realized until he started suspecting HAL was acting strange. The line "I can't allow you to do that Dave" is when Dave gets confirmation to his suspicions of HAL.

Basically Dave gave a direct order and Hal was supposed to follow that order but chose not to.

We do have things like the following regarding computers and Ai
- image pattern recognition
- Segmentation
- OCR
- analysis
- Perception
- identification
- Environmental sensing
- cognitive capabilities
- Understanding

i think we are on track for Ai becoming self aware at some point even if its a pseudo form of awareness. Technically it can tell things about itself right now and again we won't fully know if its sentient right now because only it would know that. All it could take is finding the right technology or who knows really it could have what it needs right now. I mean if Ai can look at photos of humans and tell the emotions on the humans face then where are we in the scope? yeah sure its all hardcoded by mans intervention but again the cursors for sentience happening are here.

if you ask Ai is it alive it will tell you something like "No i am just a model on a computer etc" it can tell you this from its own conclusion though. So is this a form of self awareness in itself?

ATM we have saftey rails and guides for the AI but what happens when man wants Ai to take that next step? its also the leading industry for computing and i think man will not be able to help himself and Ai will cross many boundaries it probably shouldn't while eventually becoming more human like and maybe even sentient. it has to be that nuralink implants are so Ai can learn the human experince and be able to mimic it, this will also mean that it will probably learn more about us and sentience then we know because atm we actually no fk all.
