Yes, I ran into the exact same thing. Had one post pulling in the bulk of my traffic, and it made me nervous too, since a single algorithm update or ranking drop could wipe out most of my numbers overnight.
What helped me was building cluster content around that one strong post instead of just leaving it standing alone. I looked at what subtopics and related questions people were searching around that main article, then wrote separate posts covering each of those angles and linked them all back to each other.
It spreads the traffic out across multiple pages instead of resting on one, and it also tends to strengthen the main post further since it now has supporting content backing it up.
It does not happen overnight, but over a few months, the traffic started distributing more evenly instead of being so dependent on that one page. Worth the effort if you are noticing the same risk.
