What do you guys use for Topical Map Creation?

I usually start with ChatGPT for the structure, then refine it with keyword data from Ahrefs or Semrush. It saves a lot of time.

I have tried a few tools but I still end up reviewing the output manually

it has been shown that the tools help to gather thoughts yet the true benefit lies in how one prioritizes them. many of the automatted maps end up making lists of keywords instead of actually developiing a content strategy. the most efficient strategy would be to use the tools to discover the opportunities nd then sort them manually based on user intent nd siggnificance.
I Usually combine Ahrefs or Semrush with AI for brainstorming, but I still review everything before publishing, The tools save time, but the final structure needs a Human Check.

for topical maps i skip the paid tools mostly, scrape google's "people also ask" n related searches directly for the seed topic, gives way more accurate real search behavior data than any ai brainstorm session. then run that through a simple python script to cluster by intent n dedupe overlapping topics. costs nothing beyond time to set up n honestly more reliable than asking chatgpt to guess wat ppl search for since its just pulling from actual query data

I usually start with Google search results and the related searches at the bottom of the page. Then I group similar topics together and build the structure manually. It takes a little longer, but I feel I understand the topic much better than relying only on a tool.
Gemini cannot give a lot output, i personally use cluade api and my own tool to build huge topical map with content brief and other things.
Yeah max ai tool on the market gives nothing just keyword clustering. But that's not topical map. That's why i create in house tool and now people are using it as well.
Ahref and semrush just provide keyword list. Max of them are same intended. That's keyword clustering not topical map.
