Sometimes I will start writing an answer and then realize that I have already explained the same idea in one of my older answer. Then I start thinking whether to continue writing, change my approach or skip the question.

As I answer more questions, this keeps happening again and again.

When you come across a question which you have answered many times then do you write a fresh answer every time or do you simply move on to a different question?

This happens mostly. In this type of case, I don't copy the old answer, I either rewrite it in a simple way or add something different in new question.
But if it is too repetitive then I just move on to a different question instead of forcing it.

This is actually normal when you’ve been active for a while repetition starts to show up. I usually don’t force a brand-new angle every time; if the core answer still holds, I just keep it simple and move on. If there’s something new in the question, I tweak the approach slightly instead of rewriting everything from scratch.

The same kind of questions asked, but by other people, thus keeping it interesting.

It happens, I usually skip it unless I have a new angle or something more useful to add.

I think It's better to write a fresh answer each time, even If the topic is similar. You can share idea but explain it from a different angle or add new examples. This keeps your content useful and avoids making your answer feel repetitive.

I don't skip it but I tried to add new example instead of repeating the old answer which change the overall angle of the answer.

In that case, instead of completely rewriting the same answer, I look at the intent behind the question. Even if the topic is similar, the audience, wording and context may be different. I will try to add a new angle, different examples or a more practical explanation. Consistency matters on Quora, but quality and relevance matter more than just the number of answers you publish.

If the question has high traffic potential, rewrite it with a fresh angle or story, but if it's low-view, just move on to save time.

I don't skip it. I just rewrite the old answer in other words.

While it is not common for me to recycle answers verbatim, I also do not insist on coming up with an entirely new approach every single time. I simply add a fresh example in case the context of the prompt changes a little bit

Haha, sometimes I only realize it after typing a few lines Then I go back and think, haven’t I already said this somewhere before? It’s funny how the same ideas keep coming back.

The funny part is that you already know the answer, but explaining it without sounding like your previous answer becomes the real challenge Sometimes the question changes a little, but your brain keeps going back to the same points.

I guess having a lot of Quora answers can make you forget what you’ve already covered Sometimes your own old answers would probably be more useful than starting from scratch every time!
