Has anyone here monetized high volume traffic before?

If you have high volume, standard AdSense is usually the least profitable route. Most people here are seeing much better results with 'Native Ads' (like Taboola or Outbrain) or switching to premium networks like Mediavine/AdThrive once they hit the traffic requirements. Also, don't overlook 'Affiliate Arbitrage'—sending that traffic to high-converting CPA offers can often outperform display ads by 3x-4x.

Which methods are working best right now?
Depends what kind of volume - raw clicks vs intent matters more than people think. If its untargeted or bot-adjacent, adsense + premium nets will just nuke you eventually so native + CPA funnels convert better, especially sweepstakes, utilities, installs. If traffic has even light intent, pre-landing + email/SMS capture beats everything long term, you turn spikes into owned traffic + recycle it. Biggest mistake I see is slapping ads straight on the page instead of shaping the flow first.

high volume is great, but quality still wins

i've seen smaller sites earn more simply because the traffic converted better.
