Which AI content generator are you using in 2026?

Hey guys,
I been testing few AI content tools lately but quality is all over the place.
What tool are you using these days for blog posts, landing pages or bulk content? Looking for something that gives decent output without too much editing.

Haven't found one tool that does it all tbh. I use different ones depending on the project.
 
honestly trying to find one tool for all of that is going to drive you crazy. for landing pages and high quality blogs, claude 3.5 sonnet is the best right now, way less robotic than gpt. but for bulk stuff you need something like zimmwriter or just hook up a custom script to the openai api. those shiny web wrappers are mostly overpriced garbage and the quality is always mediocre anyway.
 
I still jump between few tools, no single one gets it right every time, bit of editing is always needed.
 
Only chagpt. All other are copies of this tool.

A combination of gpt and Google tools has been doing the deals for me
 
@BidNomad is right about Claude 3.5 for the copy side. If you are doing landing pages, GPT just sounds too corporate, whereas Claude actually gets copywriting framworks if you prompt it right. But for bulk, don't buy those monthly subscription SaaS tools. You are just paying a massive markup for a crappy UI wrapping the OpenAI API. Best way is to set up a basic playground template or use something like Make with the API. You still have to edit though... anyone saying zero editing is prob running burner spam sites that will get nuked in the next core update anyways.
 
I have been running some experiments in my journey thread and what I have come to realise recently is that one prompt doesn’t work.

You are asking the AI to do too many seperate jobs at once. My hypothesis is that breaking it down into a chain of prompts will produce better results. So on a basic level research write and edit.

I have a slightly different goal but think the methodology will be similar.

It is quite stark when you put different AI output side by side. Claude has a more natural feel but is over fluffy whilst chat gpt writes single sentence paragraphs as though it’s only be trained in Ogilvy

I'm using chatgpt and claude but I humanize their answers.
 
My experience with using AI is that my initial draft turns out much better compared to when I rely on AI to do everything automatically for me. The two best options, ChatGPT and Claude, can only do good if you provide good prompts and go through an editing process afterwards.
 
It depends on the task. If I need to quickly generate something with censorship - nanobanana pro, for 18+ photos - ComfyUI
 
No AI writer is perfect right now. I prefer tools that save time on research and structure rather than fully replacing writing.
 
Yeah @BidNomad is right about the overpriced wrappers. Most of those "AI writer" SaaS tools are just charging you a massive markup for a basic API call and a pretty UI. For bulk, Zimmwriter is still probably the easiest out of the box, but for money sites and landing pages you really need Claude 3.5 sonnet. The trick to getting decent output with less editing isn't really the tool anyway... it's feeding the AI a style guide and some actual examples of your own writing first. If you just give it a basic prompt, it's gonna spit out generic fluff. I usually just use the Anthropic workbench directly, saves a ton of money and you get way more control over the system prompt.
 
Claude and gpt are both fine but like others said the tool matters way less than how you prompt it. @MasonBookwright nailed it with the chaining thing... one giant prompt asking it to research, write and edit all at once always gives you mush. Split it up, give it a few examples of the tone you want and you'll cut your editing time way down. The wrappers are mostly just marked up api calls, skip em.
 
one thing nobody mentioned... decide upfront what the content is actually for before you pick a tool. bulk filler for internal linking and money pages are two totally different jobs and people try to solve both with the same setup then wonder why its mid.

for the money stuff i stopped letting the ai write the outline. i do the outline myself, even if its messy bullet points, then feed it section by section. sounds slow but my editing time dropped like half. the fluff usually comes from the model guessing at structure, not from the writing itself.

also keep a doc of your own edited paragraphs and paste 2-3 in as examples every time. way more effective than writing a 500 word "you are an expert copywriter" system prompt imo.

and yeah the wrapper thing is true but zimmwriter is one of the few that actually earns it if your doing volume, mostly cause of the local seo stuff and bulk queue. not defending the rest of them.
