Mobile Proxies vs. Residential Proxies for Managing 50+ Instagram Accounts?

Quick question for the social media automation pros here.
I am scaling my Instagram footprint to 50+ accounts for CPA marketing. Currently using rotating residential proxies, but I am starting to get hit with verification loops and phone blocks.
Would switching to dedicated 4G/5G mobile proxies with rotation intervals fix this? Is the price premium worth it for Instagram management nowadays?

The main reason you're hitting verification loops is using rotating proxies, as constantly changing IPs on logged-in accounts is a huge red flag for IG.
Switch to Static Residential ISP or Dedicated Mobile proxies with long sticky sessions, and pair them with an anti-detect browser or cloud phones to keep each account's IP and fingerprint isolated.

Once you scale past 50 accounts, you can look into specialized group control software or API automation to run everything smoothly.

It all depend on the trafic at that point, where consistency is more crucial than which proxie you use. from my experience, the account become suspiciou when the IP become inconsistent despite having been good proxies before.
 
I would stop rotating on logged-in accounts first. One account, one sticky IP, one stable fingerprint usually matters more than mobile vs residential. If budget is tight, I would run fewer cleaner accounts instead of 50 noisy ones.
 
mobile proxies may help with IP quality, but they won’t fix verification loops if the accounts all follow the same automation patterns. use dedicated, keep sessions stable and test a few accounts before moving all 50
 
Mobile proxies are insanely expensive for managing a couple instagram accounts if the revenue is high enough you can switch to mobiles. Otherwise stick to static residential ips.
 
I got nothing to ad but was wondering, how much would it cost in 4g proxies to run these 50acc per month?
 
For uploading? Don't need it .

I have a bit that uploadig. Auto by tool using api the uploading web browser is got shadow banned .
 
For Instagram specifically I'd lean toward dedicated mobile proxies especially for your higher-value accounts.
 
In my experience, if the API flow works but the browser flow doesn't, I'd compare the environments rather than the proxy first. Differences in browser state, cookies, or the overall session often explain more than the IP alone.

Probably around 1-2K? They are pretty expensive. Mobile proxies per GB do exist but they are not as reliable as dedicated ips from true mobile dongles/ phones
 
Mobile proxies aren't a guaranteed fix. Verification loops can be caused by more than just the proxy, so it's worth checking the rest of the setup before paying extra for mobile IPs.
 
I am also have doubt about residential/mobile. How is our current setup. I dont need to know your setup. But are you sure you did your homework about browserprofiles/fingerprints/cookies etc?

Mobile is good but damn expensive at scale. And i read still about people that got it working on residential.
 
i’d test this on a small cohort before moving all 50 accounts.
keep the fingerprint and usage pattern unchanged, then compare verification rates on sticky residential vs dedicated mobile ips for a week.
that should tell you whether the proxy is actually the bottleneck instead of just adding a bigger monthly bill.
 
A mobile carrier ASN is the highest-trust IP class on the first-pass filter, for social media long-term and ig in particular. If you buy residential out of a huge pool, chances are very high you get a random rotation, or the ip gets shared and burned. Almost every provider is guilty of that.

But IPcook_Proxy said it right, what you need is mobile from “this one specific device” that does not change (device, not ip). Meaning a mobile proxy farmed off one specific sim on one specific phone or modem. Proxy farmers offer that more often than big companies with aggregated pools.

And then if you have exactly that kind of proxy, you can put 5-10 accounts on it and work carefully through rotation: [action in account 1] -> [ip rotation] -> [action in account 2] -> [ip rotation] -> …

you definitely don’t need 1 mobile proxy per 1 account, that is overkill. Working through rotation on a really good dedicated mobile proxy is the top choice for sure.
