How to Start Reddit Marketing for own brand or for other clients from scratch?

Hey, guys As reddit as a whole platform is growing.

We should definitely focus on building an authority on this platform. But I don't know where to start from and from 0.

Like how to create accounts, should we buy aged accounts then karma farm them so that will be cheaper, which proxy to use, which anti detect to use.

Overall I need a complete guide for reddit marketing and to do it as faster as possible as reddit is tightening the platform day by day.

Smart money here.

1 - Established accounts are like skipping the line at an event and entering the best seats of the house for paying a little extra. Yes it makes a difference. See this post for proof (view here) . A new account can't do the things an established one can. Especially not when trying to setup branding.

2 - If inexperienced but understanding of the power of delegation - hire someone to get your branded accounts set up, then administrate

3 - You can't just market your own stuff on an account all day without other activity. You will need to be a normal person.

4 - Proxies / VPNS / anti-detect browsers are why there's 5-10 posts a day now with people complaining about getting banned. Learn the method very well before executing but me personally, I do not touch any of the fake shit and that's kept me in good standings since 2021 here on BHW while many users you see will have 'newer' accounts because they burned out and rebranded, still dont know what they are doing just found another way to sell snake oil that will work temporarily
5 - There's plenty of free guides here on this forum. You need to study daily for a while. Here's some posts I did to help people avoid getting banned and also it links to a post I made showing how to grow karma and more:

There is not shortcut for growing a reddit just take patience ...... And you will better doing for yourself marketing than someone else
 
I've tried running a few advertising campaigns on Reddit, but they weren't very effective. Building content and establishing credibility from scratch feels almost impossible to me because new accounts are so easily suspended.
 
Focus on building genuine accounts, earning karma naturally and adding value first as long-term trust works much better than shortcuts on Reddit.

The hardest part is building a reputation that looks natural over time a good strategy usually starts with providing value before trying to get anything back from the platform
 
The fastest way is to use Reddit Ads to promote your brand, or build high-quality Reddit accounts and promote your brand in active subreddits with strong engagement.
 
I'd start with a few accounts first and learn what works. Once you get a feel for Reddit, it's much easier to scale without running into problems.
 
Reddit marketing is not just about creating accounts and posting links. The platform is built around trust, community participation, and providing value. If you are starting from zero, focus on building a proper system rather than looking for shortcuts would be helpful. what i believe is build trust first, and promotion becomes much easier.
 
one thing nobody really mentioned here... the account matters way less than the subs you pick. you can have a 5 year old account with 100k karma and still get your post nuked in 20 min because that sub has an automod rule about link domains or account age in THAT sub specifically. every sub is its own little country with its own laws.

so before you touch proxies or aged accounts or any of that, go pick like 4-5 subs where your audience actually sits, read the rules page and the wiki, and lurk for a couple weeks. sort by top of the month and look at what actually got upvoted vs what got removed. half the "reddit is so hard" posts are just people who never read a sidebar.

also the branding thing. authority on reddit isnt the account being famous, its people recognising the name in comment sections over and over. that only comes from commenting, not posting. i comment maybe 20x for every 1 post and thats what actually built anything for me.

on the aged accounts debate, both sides kinda right imo. aged does open doors faster in some subs, but if you dont know how to behave in the sub youll just burn a more expensive asset. bit like buying a nice car before you have a license.

slow is not the fun answer but its the one that still works in 6 months
 
Reddit marketing is about being active in the right communities. Follow the rules, help people, and don't only post promotions.
