Keyword research has always been a major part of SEO, but search engines are getting better at understanding topics and user intent Do you still start content planning with keywords first, or do you focus more on topics audience needs, and overall search intent?

shape the content around the topic and the actual intent so it matches what people are really trying to do.

i still start with keywords. but not individual keywords anymore. i build around a topic and cover the entire search intent. one good topical cluster beats 20 random keyword articles.

What are you using for finding topical clusters?

You still need to research keywords and incorporate them naturally, but gone are the days when we put keywords in the title, slug, meta tags, the first paragraph, and stuff like that.

Topic clusters are definitely the way to go now :) If you just target single words you miss out on real traffic. Focus on what the user actually wants to find and the keywords will fit in naturally.

I think keyword research is still important, but I don't rely on keywords alone anymore. I usually start by understanding the audience, their problems, and the search intent behind a topic. Then I use keywords to structure the content and make sure it reaches the right users.

In my opinion, the best results come from combining keyword data with valuable, user-focused content.

Search intent has become more important for me Keywords still matter but they work better when the content answers what people are actually looking for.

Yes, but not only keywords. The main thing I focus on is what people are searching for and make the content useful. Good titles and user intent matter more than stuffing keywords.

I still use keywords as a starting point, but i pay much more attention to search intent than exact keyword matching. If the content genuinely answers what people are looking for, it usually performs better than writing around keywords alone.

keywords still matter but i start with intent clusters now

keyword = entry point
topic depth + matching the serp = what actually ranks

old school exact match content is kinda cooked tbh

Intent first keyword second .That's what works now.

When we conduct keyword research and select the most relevant keywords, we should always create a content plan around them. Consistently planning and producing content that targets those keywords helps improve visibility and supports long-term SEO growth.

i still start with keywords but i do not build content around keywords anymore. i try to understand what people are looking for nd creatte content that answers those questions naturally. if the content is responding to the users intent the keywords tend to slot in naturaly.

i used to do keyword research first but now i plan out the topic before i even open a keyword tool. Once i know what questions users r askiing i use keywords to help me structure the article not as a way to drive the whole thing. That shift has helped me to create content that feels more complete nd remains rellevant for longer.

I start with topics, then validate them with keyword research.

True, but I think the main thing is understanding search intent behind those keywords Just targeting keywords is not enough if the content doesnt solve what users are actually looking for

i start with the audience's problem not the keyword once i know what users are actually looking for i naturally incorporate relevant keywords it has led to better rankings and more engaged visitors
