How long does a new facebook account need to be warmed up?

Instead of counting the days, make sure you don't change too many elements at once before starting. When the foundation is stable, launching will be safer.
 
If the task is to really warm up well, it can take a very long time, several months for sure. It is much easier to just buy such an account, they are not expensive, because if you warm it up yourself, it will take a lot of time.
 
Usually a couple of weeks of normal activity is safer than rushing straight into ads. Add some real profile activity first, then start slow with small campaigns.

for a brand new account, you should warm it up slowly for at least 7 to 10 days before launching ads

Honestly there’s no fixed number.
I usually just let it sit for a few days, use it like a normal account - scroll a bit, like some stuff, maybe join a couple groups.
Biggest mistake is creating it and jumping straight into ads.
Also depends on what you’re running. Some stuff gets flagged no matter what.
I’d just keep it natural and don’t go from 0 to big spend in one day.
 
Facebook is experiencing a decline in engagement, so I think it will take you about 1-2 months to increase your account engagement.

I'd avoid rushing into advertising immediately after creating the account. Instead, spend a few days using Facebook normally by browsing your feed, reacting to posts, and completing your profile.
The goal isn't just waiting for a certain number of days, but building a natural activity history before introducing advertising activity.

From what I've seen 2-4 weeks is the usual range, but it's less about the number of days and more about the account looking lived-in, real profile info, some friends, normal browsing and posting, not just sitting idle waiting. Also keep the same device and IP the whole time, changing those right before you launch is what usually kills accounts more than warming too fast. When you do start, go small and let spend build gradually rather than jumping straight to a big budget.

A brand new account requires at least 2–3 weeks of organic user activity before setting up a Page BM, followed by a low budget engagement warm-up campaign for 3–5 days to establish payment method trust before launching conversion ads.
 
I recommend you try to develop it within 1-2 months.
