i do not think the opportunity has gone at all. the travel niche is more competitiive these days but ppl are always looking for new recomendations, honest experiences nd practical tips. U do not have to talk about everything if u choose a specific audience or unique angle u can still build a loyal readership. it may not be immediate but if u are consistently producing good content there is room for new travel blogs.

For sure still worthwhile, but don’t build some kind of generic travel blog Choose your destination, your audience, or your travel niche, and build something that adds value to the table in its own way the opportunity is definitely there.

If you visit a lot of exotic places and other countries then yes it's worth it, because you can share your experiences with your audience.

Its never too late if you provide unique value and stay consistent travel blogging is still worth it in 2026.
there is still space left for more travel blogs. Do not try to challenge the big names in this field but write about useful information nd experience of urs. there will always be people looking for some up to date nd fresh information when traveling. So there will still be an audiience for it.

I don't know why everyone says yes to this, kinda weird. With AI, most people get their answers directly from their LLM instead of reading/trusting what random bloggers say like the early 2000s. It's way worse compared to 20 years ago, like 50x worse I'd say.
