Which black hat SEO tool gives the best value for beginners?

If you're just starting out, I'd recommend looking at Ubersuggest as an entry-level tool. It's much cheaper than Ahrefs or SEMrush but still gives you solid keyword data, competition analysis, and content ideas. The free version is quite generous too, so you can test it before committing.

For backlink analysis specifically, a group buy for Ahrefs or SEMrush is another common route beginners take - you get the full data without the full price tag.

Personally, I find that combining Ubersuggest for keyword research with free tools like Google Search Console and Google Trends gives you a pretty solid foundation without spending much. Once you start generating consistent revenue, then upgrade to the bigger tools. What specific type of SEO are you planning to focus on first?

If your main goal is keyword research then go with Ahrefs. It has a lot of useful data and is easy to learn. If you are interested in automation then it depends on the type of task you want to automate.

if i could only buy one tool I'd choose Ahrefs it covers keyword research backlink analysis competitor research and site audits making it a great all around investment

I am looking for my first paid SEO tool and do not want to waste money. Which tool do you use regularly for automation or research? I would like something that is easy to learn and reliable.
Expensive automation tools are definitely not what I would suggest. For beginners, it is better to use effective tools for keyword or research and competitor analysis, rather than the one-push black hat solution. 1st get acquainted with the data, and only then proceed to automation.

If you're just starting, I'd recommend Ahrefs. It's easy to use, reliable, and great for keyword research, backlink analysis, and competitor research all in one place.

black hat seo tools are by nature unsustainable. i think u can start from grey hat and use free tools to start. and arm yourself with a claude or chatgpt subscription. your first few qualified videos or post will come from those

if you're on a tighter budget KeySearch offers excellent value it's easy to learn and provides solid keyword and competitor data without the high monthly cost

Semrush and Ahrefs , Probably ahrefs is best for all type of sites.

It's AI era so use CLI, Connectors, APIs, Best models no matter what you are doing.

For keyword research - create a ChatGPT and create your own GPT using Data For SEO and you can research / find market / do anything in minutes. Super newbie friendly set and forget and super easy.

For link building - GSA Search Engine Ranker (highly recommended for link building) + Xevil or if you are super newbie then opt for Captcha solver service.

For content generating - SEO Content Machine or GSA Content Generator with Open Router API (models like GLM / Deepseek Pro 4 costs pennies and super high ROI).

The rest with Claude / Codex / or any free model.

I Use Ahrefs the most for backlink's and keyword research since the data has been reliable for me, If your budget is tight, start with one tool and learn it well before adding anything else.

It really depends on what part of SEO you want to focus on. For keyword research and competitor analysis, tools like Ahrefs or Semrush are popular choices, while Google Search Console is still one of the most important free tools to understand how your site is performing. If you're just starting out, I would pick one tool and learn it properly instead of subscribing to multiple platforms at once. The data is only useful when you know how to apply it.

As a beginner, the value of a tool lies in the frequency of usage of its data rather than the number of features available within it. a more affordable solution which can helps you make sound decisionns on a weekly basis will always have more value than an expensive one which is used once in the keyword tab.

As an amateur, i would actually give priority to information rather than automation. a tool which can provide insights about the competition, keywords, and backlinks should be prioritised over one which automates tasks that you do not have full understanding of yet. It is best to start out with a single process, and then add tools as neccessary.

If you just need research, get a group buy for ahrefs or semrush instead of paying full price. i use group buy too for semrush.

Haha in this day and age I guess Claude code is a black hacker's savior. Not for generating ideas but for performing a lot of the arduous work a black hacker may need to do alone

The Ahrefs and SEMrush both will be very useful for beginners to understand SEO terms easily. However, you need to spend some money to utilize their full features. Otherwise, the free version of Ahrefs offers only limited details to check a website, not everything you might expect.

Most marketers use these tools widely.
There are some tools that sell them with very low price, about 2$/month for semrush
