Hi everyone,

I need some honest advice here, I am planning on buying PBN's from BHW under Link Building marketplace, I am currently working with a real estate site. This business is all local based in Canada, I am just a bit confused on if that is the way to go. I am okay with having a small boost, and then build overtime. I have been reaching out to HARO articles daily, but no luck. I have no "good" backlinks most are just random. Not sure how, would you suggest I just do PBN's for now and then move into guest posting on major sites like MSN, The Global Mail, etc.

Open to suggestions here to really move the DA on this site, I am currently stuck at 13/100!

Thank you!!!!

void relying on PBNs as your main strategy they’re risky and not sustainable long-term. Focus instead on relevant local links, niche guest posts, and digital PR HARO + direct outreach. For a real estate site, quality and relevance of backlinks matter far more than DA manipulation.
Use PBNs only, if at all, as a minor short-term supplement not a core approach.

Thank you - would it make sense to get like 20 - 100 PBNs to send a inital short term push to rank while I work on the other stuff in the back end?

PBNs are great to break the initial ranking/DA barrier fast. Start small, scale if it works, then mix with guest posts later

PBNs can be a solid way to get an initial boost, especially if you're stuck at low DA and need momentum. If you choose quality networks and keep it natural, they can help you rank faster while you gradually add safer links like guest posts and PR. Just use them as a foundation, not your only strategy.

I'm interested in working on your projects. I have shared the blog samples, features of the blogs, and all further details via Bhw mail.

Please check and let me know your thoughts.

Best would be to get links from .ca domains or websites that are getting Major Traffic From Canada(Can find through Ahref or similar tools), For Real Estate niche --> Secure links from Business Directory websites as well, along with Guest Post websites, PBN should be a part of your strategy. You should not solely rely on that for Rankings!
Good Luck

I wouldn’t rely only on PBNs, especially for a local real estate site. It might give a short-term boost, but it’s not something I’d build the whole strategy on.

What’s worked better for us in similar cases is a mix. You can use a few high-quality PBN links to kickstart movement, but combine that with real guest posts and niche/local backlinks. That way you’re not fully dependent on one type of link.

For local SEO in Canada, try focusing more on geo-relevant links like local blogs, news sites, business directories, and partnerships. Even a few strong local placements can move rankings more than random high-DA links.

Also, don’t focus too much on DA. At 13, you just need consistent quality links and proper on-page & internal linking to grow naturally.

PBN links can still help boost rankings faster on Google when they are built on clean, relevant domains and used carefully as part of a broader link building strategy.

PBN's can give your site a quick authority boost, especially when you're stuck at a low DA and need momentum in a competitive local niche. If you choose clean, well-maintained PBN's and combine them with natural links over time, they can be a solid stepping stone while you build stronger authority.

don’t jump straight into PBNs for local real estate. short term boost maybe, but local SEO is more about trust and relevance. focus first on local signals like citations, directories, and reviews. for backlinks, prioritize real estate or local sites. use PBNs only as support later, not your base.

PBN can give a quick boost, but for a local real estate site in Canada, it’s risky long-term. One update = rankings gone.

I wouldn’t rely completely on PBNs for a local real estate site. Focus on building local authority first using citations, niche directories, and location-based content. Then add relevant guest posts (DR 20–50). PBNs can be tested lightly, but shouldn’t be your core strategy.

PBNs can help you to get initial ranking and boost quickly, start small, test results, then scale carefully and combine with guest posts for long term stability.

PBNs are not good for long term growth because if google finds out your website can be penalized. Guest posts and other types of backlinks are white hat and these will benefit you more in the long term.

Build local citations, PR, social links, forums links alongside or before the PBN links

For a local real estate website, I would be interested in canadian traffic rather than DA. Just two local citations may work beter than tens of PBN backlink. testing PBNs? start small and see how it goes.

I'd probably skip PBNs for local real estate site. Focus on relevant guets posts and quality backlinks, it would be safer and it result be last longer.

Personally, I'd treat PBNs as a secondary option rather than the starting point. For a local real estate business, relevant local links and a strong Google Business Profile often provide a better long-term foundation. DA is just one metric, so I wouldn't make decisions based on that alone. I'd focus on building authority naturally and add higher-quality editorial links whenever the opportunity comes up.
