How to generate affiliate traffic for antivirus offer??

I own an offer in consumer antivirus, cloud storage, VPN, identity monitoring etc. and I'm trying to find out what the most effective ways are to generate sales, even if it takes a while to start from scratch.

I've seen people spam lead lists telling them their phone subscription expired or something and in order to save it, they need to go buy that cloud or antivirus offer. How do you get those lists though and what kind of messaging do you even send them lol

Aside from that, what else can I do myself? App banner ads? Display ads? etc. ?

Security comparison pages and review content can work well for this niche people usually search when they already have a problem or concern so targeting those moments helps.
 
dont touch spam lists bro thats just chargebacks and bans go seo comparison pages youtube reviews reddit help posts and retargeting display legit intent traffic converts way cleaner trust

Bro, in your case, nothing's stopping you from spinning up a pool of 10-20 page sites that'll dominate the whole SERP and convert leads for this offer. Just run basic SEO you don't even need links here
 
Share them for free in communities like Facebook, Reddit, and X so users can try them out during a trial period, then start charging after a certain amount of time.

For antivirus/consumer security offers, I’d focus less on random traffic and more on intent-based sources. People usually buy when they already have a security concern.


Some channels worth testing:


  • SEO/content: Build pages around searches like “best antivirus for Windows,” “how to remove malware,” “is my PC infected,” “VPN for public WiFi,” etc. It takes time but can become a stable source.
  • Paid search: Google/Bing search traffic can work because the user already has buying intent. Start small and test keywords carefully.
  • Native/display: Works better with strong advertorial angles rather than direct “buy antivirus” banners.
  • YouTube/TikTok content: Security tips, scam awareness, privacy guides, etc. can build trust and convert.
  • Email: Only with properly acquired, permission-based lists. Purchased/scraped lists usually create deliverability and compliance problems.

For offers like this, the angle matters a lot. “Protect your device” is generic — solving a specific problem (“remove malware,” “secure your banking,” “protect your identity”) usually converts better.


I’d test multiple landing page angles and track which audience has the highest EPC before scaling.

You could use banner ads and stuff like that but traffic can suck, most of those traffics are bots lol...

1. Create videos about your product, you can use Creatify or some other AI UGC Ad maker to make some cool videos.
2. If you're lazy to upload videos or forget, then use social media automation tools like: Buffer, Netodus, Hootsuite, SocialPilot, etc... Depends on which one is good for you.
3. Your videos will always stay there, but those cheap ads to get clicks will be gone when budget is burned.
 
Mobile ads work great for such offers. Phone cache clean-up offers did great with ads shouting at people that their phone memory is full. The panic buying helped the developers make a lot of money. You can point out if their device is infected, privacy concerns, etc. for promoting your offers.
