How do you measure content quality

For me, good content is more than just the word count. I ask a few simple questions before publishing.

Does it fully answer the user's question? Is the information accurate and up to date? Is it easy to read with clear headings and short paragraphs? Does it offer something useful that other articles don't?

I also check for grammar, internal links, relevant images if needed, and make sure the title and meta description match the content.

I don't think there's any metric in the world that can measure quality - you have to go with your gut, run appropriate split-tests and use yourself as the tie-break or ranking factor.

I usually look at engagement time on page and whether the content answers the user's question clearly If people stay longer and interact with it that's usually a good sign

I check whether it fully satisfies the search intent, covers the topic better than the current top-ranking pages, has strong internal linking, optimized metadata, and offers something genuinely useful. If I'd be happy landing on that page as a user, it's usually ready to publish.
