Nvidia grew into a beast within a short period due to AI boom. New competitors will definitely kill their market. Everyone is looking for more computing power at lower costs, so the demand is definitely high for faster AI chips.

nah nvidia isnt going anywhere anytime soon. everyone talks about the hardware specs but they always forget about cuda. the software ecosystem is the real moat here. trying to migrate a massive production stack off nvidia to some new architecture is a nightmare, even if the raw chips are cheaper. maybe in the domestic chinese market theyll dominate, but globally it is going to take years to even dent nvidias market share.

The chinnese are somewhat behind because they dont have the tsmc possibilities to make chips on smaller nm to be efficient but they are not far ..... they do manage some impresive success with their domestic factories but the issue is nvidia have the drivers and cuda and a lot of peoples and developers use them. If peoples use more nvidia the more developers will be willing to develop software for them vs for the chinese chips
