For growth, quote tweets are usually more valuable than likes because they help push the post outside the original audience. A like is low effort, but a quote tweet adds engagement, discussion, and extra visibility through another person’s followers. That said, the best signal on X right now still seems to be conversations. Posts that get replies, reposts, and quote tweets tend to travel further than posts that only collect likes. Likes help with social proof, but quote tweets usually help more with reach and discovery.

quote tweets are a more valuable engagement metric than like obviously. Try to get as many quote tweets as possible, but make them quality so they drive real traffic

Any tweet, you need an initial push. Most of the well known X people have a separate group on WA, TG and Discord to support each other.

It’s crazy but i would recommend retweets still too and actually more so. At this point it’s a high signal and i’ve definitely gotten more followers from RTs than anything else.

I have seen that quote tweets get attention than likes when people actually join in on the conversation about Twitter

One thing that's easy to miss is that ten quote tweets from ten different circles can be far more valuable than a hundred from people who all follow each other

Quote Tweets push reach heavily because they act as standalone posts leveraging existing context, but the real viral push happens when your commentary provokes an active back and forth reply thread beneath it.
