How many articles does a new blog realistically need before seeing consistent organic traffic?

Never, when you not build authority first and stop your first class cms generating tons of messa crawl waste urls and DB queries.

30 to 50 are ideal, but they must be on search intent not just random ones. Also you will need to update them twice a week, while making new ones consistently and DON'T QUIT. If it takes 3 to 6 months constantly working on your site you will definitely WIN in the end. Also do proper internal linking and try to get guest posts from highly authoritative, relevant sites to your own from day 1 and you'll be golden. Good luck!

In AI, 100 random posts won’t do much. Pick one narrow slice, like prompts for lawyers or local business automation, and cover every question around that before chasing bigger terms.

what if the niche is different, not the lawyers or local business automation
and ai is necessary to create posts ?
 
It depend on the page budget content to determine number of content need to get index with traffic,authority webpages are live with few content and promotion to gain residual traffics but real blog page needs residual/consistency update for indexing.

Well, I have seen people are now interested in food and health topics, mainly if you do short videos and upload that with your content in your website people will like that and in both ways you will generate traffic..

helpful content with short form videos definitely seems to be working well lately, i will test it on a few niches to see how the results compare
 
Honestly, it depends more on the niche and how competitive your keywords are. Some blogs get traffic with 10 good articles, while others need 100+.
 
It depends entirely on your niche and keyword difficulty. Go after super low-competition long-tails and you can easily see daily clicks with just 15–20 solid posts.

In my pov , however, article count is but one piece of a larger puzzle. A blog can began generating traffic with just 20 relevant pieces of content on the condition that it addresses a particular cluster of topics, where as 100 articles that are nor related to one another may fail to achieve anything.i typically examine whether or not the pages generate impressionns and fill the voids for the topic.

There is no fixed number because it depends a lot on the niche competition and how well the content targets search intent Some sites can see results with 20 30 strong articles while others need much more Quality, topical coverage, and consistency usually matter more than just publishing a certain number of posts
 
I have seen blogs get traffic with 20 good articles, while others needed over 100. Quality and consistency have mattered more in my experience.
