Start with simple things like niche relevant guest posts, directories, and basic outreach. Focus more on relevance and quality instead of building too many links at once. Also make sure your content is solid first, it makes link building much easier.
 
You should start by creating helpful content and sharing it relevant communities naturally. Focus on quality backlinks from niche related websites instead of spammy bulk links. consistency and genuine engagement work best in long run. quality matters way more than quantity now. A few relevant links from trusted sites are better than hundred of random backlinks.
 
For beginners, I would suggest starting with guest post,niche edits,forum ,participation,Reddit/Quora engagement and business directories related to your niche. Creating useful content like guides,case studies,or statistics also helps attract backlinks naturally.Link building still works well if you keep it natural and focus on quality over quantity.
 
as a beginner i would say just keep it simple and do not overthink it.
just focus on getting links from places where your topic actually fits like relevant blogs, forums or niche communities.
even a few natural links can make more difference than trying to push a lot of random one.

You can try out guest posting or niche edits from relevant high authority websites. You just send them a DM via their contact form and state your maximum price.
 
Focus on quality, relevance, and consistency rather than volume. A handful of good links can outperform hundreds of weak ones, and it's a better way to build long term SEO skills.
 
Keep things simple just focus on your niche or build your apperance through guset posting reddit or others etc..
