Which Affiliate Program Would You Recommend to Someone Just Starting Out?

I'm looking to get into affiliate marketing and would love to hear from those with more experience
If you were starting from scratch today, which affiliate program would you choose and why? What makes it beginner friendly?
I'd appreciate any recommendations or lessons you've learned along the way now

people usually won't answer this earnestly because they don't want too much exposure for their technique. just read and read and read and read and read here until something that might work hits in the shower and go for that with all you got, or you read a post of someone lamenting the ways in which their strategy isn't working and if you've read enough, you'll know why and can maybe improve upon theirs

Pick by criteria, not by name. I work on the program side, and the beginners who do well usually get three things right: a niche where their traffic already exists (language/GEO match), an AM who actually answers, and transparent stats with postbacks so you can verify numbers on your own tracker. And revshare builds real income but starts slow — if you need fast feedback to learn, start with CPA and move your winners to revshare later.

I'd worry less about the affiliate program and more about the niche you're promoting. A decent offer in a niche you understand will usually outperform a "high-paying" program you're not able to market well. What kind of traffic are you planning to use?
