Does replying to every comment still boost reach?

I reply to the ones that add something to the conversation forced replies just for the algorithm usually don't do much.

early replies matter way more than people think... that first hour window is where you wanna dump your energy. after that i mostly just hit the ones worth replying to.

replying to every single comment gets exhausting and honestly the algo doesnt care once the post is past its peak. reply to stuff that sparks more conversation, ignore the "nice post" one liners imo.

Commenting wont directly boost the reel; but it will get users to view the profile and get the post more exposure.

Yes, I think replying to comments can still help boost reach on Instagram. It increases engagement on the post and can encourage more people to join the conversation.

Replying to comments is generally a good practice, especially in the first day or two after posting. While there's no guarantee it directly boosts reach, it encourages more conversation, which can send positive engagement signals and help build a stronger community.

A lot of creators say replying to comments helps keep a post active and can even increase its reach.

Do you still reply to every comment, or do you only respond to the important ones?
I think only for the first half hour or so, doesn't make sense algorithmically for posts to be boosted 5 years later

I still try to reply when I can because it helps build a stronger community Even if it does not always increase reach it encourages more conversations and shows followers that you are active and engaged

In my experience it help generating retention and engagement that may help increase the visibility of your post/s. So indirectly it help boost the reach of the post also

When you have a big IG page with a wide reach you won't be able to reply to all of the comments. I'd suggest to outsource that work to a hired and trained VA. The goal is to have your accounts run as smoothly as they can and try to outsource lower value work in order for you to do "higher level" (more profitable) work and focus only on that.

Yes, I usually reply to comments when possible. More interaction can make the post feel active and encourage others to join in.

Replying to comments can help keep the conversation active but the quality of those replies matters too Genuine interactions seem more valuable than replying just for the sake of it

I usually reply to relevant comments, especially during the first few hours after posting It helps keep the conversation active and encourages more engagement I don't think its necessary to reply to every single comment if it doesn't add any value

Replies to comments will go a long way in keeping the discussion flowing. While I do not answer every comment, I always ensure that I try to answer the important ones.

Yes, replying to comments remains a good practice, but it should be viewed as a way to build community and foster quality interaction rather than a "trick" to boost reach. A post with compelling content that retains viewers and sparks organic discussion is still more likely to achieve wider distribution than one that simply features numerous short replies from the account owner.

I think replying to individual comments is more about building a connection with your audience than increasing your reach. It helps you come across as more friendly and approachable.

Reply to all comments in the first 1-2 hours to trigger the algorithm, then focus only on high quality ones using open ended questions to build conversation threads that sustain deep reach.
