Search Console comes first because it's free and provides direct insights from Google. Once everything looks fine, I analyze competitors and backlinks using Ahrefs.

i usually start with Google search console to check indexing, clicks, and any coverage issues. After that, I review keywords movements and competitor changes.

Search console is always my starting point, it's only taking a few minutes to check performance, coverage & indexing, but it can quickly tell me if a site needs attention, everything else comes after that

I use GSC myself, although it is my first point of contact, but do not dwell on day to day variations too much. It is the exceptional variations in traffic, new keywords, and even pages which have traffic but no clicks which are the most helpful.
I normally open Analytics first to see how the website performed yesterday. After that, I check Search Console for keyword and indexing updates.

I usually start with Google Search Console. It helps me to know if there are any big changes in clicks, impressions and indexing before moving on to anything else.

For me, it's GA4 first. I like to see how organic traffic performed overnight, then I switch to Search Console to understand any changes in clicks and impressions.

I normally begin by using google search console, but I do not simply look at the no of clicks and impressions. rather, I see if there are any odd changes in terms of pages suddenly disappearing from the index, new search queries showing up, or an abrupt change in ranking positions. Such minor signs can hint at something much more significant.
