Could some of you guys that are working as business services providers, programmers, designers, content creators provide some insights on what is going on the market.

I understand that a lot of people are using AI for a lot of things, I am just curious if this stuff actually is being appreciated by the customers because for me personally, there really isn't anything about AI that I like.

I hate AI slop, AI support agents, AI calls, anything AI related, I find it incredibly low quality.

Vague, artificial, generic, lazy, just a bunch of low quality bullshit
So far it can't convince me, if a business is using AI generated images/emails/calls, I'm probably already checking competitors

if you and me think like this, then for which customers are they creating all this AI stuff?
idk, low IQ people...well, it sounded a bit cocky, but it makes me remember of my days on FB Ads, I had pages like ''hfdfdhudfhfdu'' with this kind of name running ads and people didn't care, they still bought from it, I guess most people just buy any shit without thinking twice, then any low quality copyright works for them

I am suspecting that most people hate AI, but we are still in a phase where we can't know for sure how the market is responding.

My thoughts are that soon companies will feel the effects from the customers and understand that they made a wrong decision to rely on AI for their operations.

Soon or later this decision will bite them and we will possibly go into the AI bubble that many are predicting.

AI is like a good football referee. They shouldn’t draw attention to themselves but their presence should make the game better.

I think the issue is laziness in using AI and expecting it to do everything in one prompt.

yes this is the exact thing. you have to give llm models as much context as possible, be as specific as possible, essentially "train" them. Emails are clockwork once you have fed it everything about the business, creator, etc. Visual ads are another story but there are so many good tools out there that perform well. At the end of the day human discretion is always more important because a human has to guide the llm. Im not listening to the media/ people tell me ai this, ai that when I know how useful it is when paired with a smart human (not to be cocky).

none of my AI generated text for youtube ads videos ever got profitable, NONE.
When you read what he wrote, it feels like something that should convert, but in reality it feels artificial...
Only text (for background voice) created by me or from winning videos of other people worked.

Also I tried to use AI for creating thumbnails for youtube videos and to use them as images in the video, and here AI generated images really work, but only if you ask AI to create them somehow weird, not "ideal", but in some vector images style or like painted style, or old cartoons style.

There are 2 ways:
1. create your own content but do manually like 70-80% and only 20-30% with AI
2. borrow winning content/creatives from others (which is not very nice, but it works).

If you use AI to replace your brain, it's not going to convert.

I personally use AI to sanity-check my sales copy, and more often than not it'll point out something I overlooked. The final wording is still mine, but a few of the finer points might be guided by AI.

AI is excellent at generating content, but it is not meant to make decisions. So-called AI is just an advanced autocomplete tool is designed to continue text written in your prompt, so it cannot handle your emails, trade stocks, or perform full-stack software development. Course it should never gain control over your PC or server. The only area in which modern language models fit organically is auto-blogging.

Because it's easy to do so. Also a lot of people lack the skills to create something of value without AI doing it for them.

Human touch is always necessary if you want output from AI generations. Pure ai generated content will always feel that it is missing something. that spark a user gets when a human has written it.

I saw a beauty brand (skin glowing serum or something) using AI generated images in their ads.

If I was to buy a beauty product, I would want to see it used by a real person and before after pictures to see how well it works. But companies are idiots I guess who think their consumers are morons

Look, bro, AI-powered systems work exceptionally well if you have a basic understanding of them. Now, if you just want to build things you don't understand, that's where the problem lies, and that's where you end up with low-quality stuff. But keep in mind that with AI, you can create software that used to take you a month in about two hours.
