Tumblr seems like an underrated platform compared to some of the bigger social networks. With the right content strategy, it looks like there may still be opportunities to build an audience and drive engagement.

For those still using Tumblr for marketing, what types of content are performing best for you, and what strategies have helped you grow?

I have seen the best results with niche visual content, consistent posting, relevant tags, and active engagement through reblogs.

Tumblr can still work, especially for niche communities. Original content, consistent posting, and engaging with tags seem to perform much better than just sharing promotional posts

In my experience, Tumblr is still a very useful platform for marketing. However, success requires a well-planned strategy and a solid understanding of how the platform works.

I think Tumblr can still work, but it really depends on your niche. In my experience, it's better for building brand awareness than getting quick traffic or sales.

I do not think Tumblr is as good as it used to be. It can still help you get people to visit your website if you are posting about the right things, on Tumblr.

Tumblr only thrives on niche visuals GIFs,Aesthetics, memes, and witty text posts, focus on reblogging to leverage community traffic and use 5-10 precise tags, never hard sell.

No is not as good as it used to be long time ago but is also not bad if you have a niche community

To succeed on Tumblr, ditch polished ads and focus on high-aesthetic, niche memes, and authentic storytelling, while leveraging 7-12 targeted tags to trigger organic reblogs within fandom communities.

it’s not as strong as it used to be
think of it more as a creative outlet than a reliable traffic engine.

I’ve found Tumblr works well for niche marketing rather than broad promotion. Original content, curated posts, and storytelling perform better than direct ads. Using trending tags and reblogging quality content can significantly increase visibility.

Yes it is still worth it to do it but don't put a lot of effort into to be honest ...... use it more like a larger marketing strategy with other social media platforms. Tumblr like other have said is good for some particular niches

I don't think that Tumblr works because there are very few people there.

I think consistency matters a lot on Tumblr. Posting regularly and using relevant tags can help people discover your content.

I think Tumblr still has value for niche audiences and branding It may not bring huge traffic but consistent creative content can still build engagement over time

Using the right tags has helped me get more visibility. Tumblr users often discover content through tags and communities.

Tumblr continues to be an effective choice for niche groups whose content fits the Tumblr platform well. I have found greater success in maintaining regular posts, relevant tags, and active engagement with other blogs compared to just dumping traffic onto it
