Does replying to every comment still boost reach?

early replies matter way more than people think... that first hour window is where you wanna dump your energy. after that i mostly just hit the ones worth replying to.

replying to every single comment gets exhausting and honestly the algo doesnt care once the post is past its peak. reply to stuff that sparks more conversation, ignore the "nice post" one liners imo.

Commenting wont directly boost the reel; but it will get users to view the profile and get the post more exposure.

I think only for the first half hour or so, doesn't make sense algorithmically for posts to be boosted 5 years later
 
In my experience it help generating retention and engagement that may help increase the visibility of your post/s. So indirectly it help boost the reach of the post also

When you have a big IG page with a wide reach you won't be able to reply to all of the comments. I'd suggest to outsource that work to a hired and trained VA. The goal is to have your accounts run as smoothly as they can and try to outsource lower value work in order for you to do "higher level" (more profitable) work and focus only on that.
 
Yes, I usually reply to comments when possible. More interaction can make the post feel active and encourage others to join in.

Yes replying comment boost the reach. When you reply to someone he immediately receive a notification it boosts your content
 
Replying fast matters more than replying to literally every comment imo. First 30-60 min after posting is when it counts most for signaling engagement. After that window the return drops off a lot. Also not worth replying to spam or bot comments, doesnt seem to help and wastes the time you could spend on real ones.

I am still vry responding to most of the comments but not merely because I have to do that. sometimes it is better to engages in an actual discussion than to say the same old thanks every time.
 
Yaa, I still reply to most comments. It keeps the conversation going and makes people feel heard. but I don't force a reply to every single one.
