Hey all, curious if anyone has tried generating casino leads using mass cold email?

I've been thinking of registering for an affiliate network that doesnt mind the traffic coming from cold email as long as it's nurtured properly, and test my strategy that way.

I know most people generate gambling traffic with ads/seo but can't see a reason why a good cold email campaign won't work. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Email marketing, though old, has always been a very effective method.

However, email marketing now has a high barrier to entry.

First, you need a high-quality email list; otherwise, your email marketing will be ineffective.

Second, you need a system capable of sending a large number of emails and reaching customers simultaneously; otherwise, your emails simply cannot be sent, or they cannot reach customers.

Third, you need good email content and wording; this is the least important of the three. Only with these three conditions can you say that you are putting email marketing into practice for actually driving customer traffic.

Hitting inbox will be the problem even if the setup is doable. You will need to get familiar with warm up tools, email inbox testing tools, blacklist checkers, use clean IPs etc. For an example of what I mean you may want to explore tools like, warmupinbox, gmass and rotate IPs, multiple inboxes configuration on clean server(s).

I'm familiar with the cold email setup. That's what I do for a living lol. Scaling volume and building a proper list isn't a problem.

Just was curious if anyone has tried this acquisition channel instead of SEO/Ads and how it worked out for them.

Sending 20k cold emails per day is mostly an infrastructure problem, not a sending problem
Google Workspace inboxes usually start dropping reputation once you push them past a few hundred emails daily, especially in niches like casino or gambling where spam filters are stricter
The usual workaround people use is spreading volume across many domains + inboxes and warming them slowly, but managing that stack becomes extremely time-consuming once you scale.
We've been working on solving this exact problem, mainly automating the sending infrastructure and domain warmup side so people don't have to manage dozens of inboxes manually
Curious what inbox setup you're currently using for the 20k/day target

Instantly for sending/warmup paired with Google accounts. I have private provider that does entire DNS setup, creates the mailboxes and uploads to sequencer. I just need to buy the domains

It can work, but it’s risky. Most casino affiliate networks don’t allow pure cold email traffic unless the list is opt-in. If you try it, a nurture-style approach or funnel usually works better than sending direct gambling promos. Deliverability and compliance are the main challenges.

I’m currently using a bulk mail sender that’s optimized for inbox delivery, so scaling volume is a bit easier on my end. Still experimenting with infrastructure to see how well it handles around 20k/day consistently.

You hit the nail on the head. Infrastructure is definitely the bottleneck. I’ve been building my own bulk mailer and dealing with those exact issues—SPF/DKIM alignment and inbox rotation. LeadDeus seems like it’s tackling a huge pain point. I’ll definitely share my results once my current tests cross the high-volume threshold. Would love to keep in touch and discuss infrastructure strategies sometime!

Appreciate that. Infrastructure is definitely where most scaling problems start showing up

SPF/DKIM alignment and inbox rotation alone can become a full-time job once volume grows

Would definitely be interested to hear how your tests go once you push into higher volume ranges. Always good to compare notes with people experimenting with their own infrastructure setups
Absolutely, and that's exactly why I've been focusing so much on the technical layer—it’s the difference between hitting the inbox or the spam folder. I'm building out some automated rotation logic right now to take the manual weight off.

I’ll definitely reach out and share my results once I've pushed the limits on this setup. Would be great to trade insights on deliverability and infrastructure. Let's stay in touch!

For casino/gambling lead gen via cold email, the fundamentals are the same as any B2B cold email but the deliverability challenges are harder because of content filtering.

LEAD SOURCING:
- Scrape Google Maps for casinos, gambling establishments, sports betting shops by location
- Website Contact Scraper (apify.com/ryanclinton/website-contact-scraper) to pull emails and contact details from their websites
- LinkedIn for decision makers at gambling companies
- Industry directories and conference attendee lists

EMAIL SETUP:
- Dedicated domains (never your main domain) — gambling-related emails get extra scrutiny
- Warm up for 3-4 weeks minimum (longer than normal because of the niche)
- Google Workspace or Outlook — avoid cheap SMTP providers
- Max 20-25 sends per inbox per day (lower than usual)
- Rotate 3-5 inboxes

CONTENT:
- Avoid spam trigger words (free, guaranteed, money, casino in subject lines)
- Lead with the business problem you solve, not the gambling angle
- Plain text emails outperform HTML for cold outreach in this niche
- Short subject lines, 3-4 sentence body max

ENRICHMENT:
- Waterfall Contact Enrichment (apify.com/ryanclinton/waterfall-contact-enrichment) at $0.20/contact to find verified emails from names + company domains
- Always verify before sending — bounces will destroy your sender reputation fast in this vertical

Got it, so you've outsourced the DNS and mailbox creation, which definitely saves time. But you're still managing the warmup cycle through Instantly and keeping an eye on domain reputation manually, correct?

The reason I ask is that we've been testing a different model: instead of spreading volume across dozens of individually warmed mailboxes, we're using a setup where the sending infrastructure is pre-warmed and shared across campaigns, with AI handling unique content per recipient to avoid spam triggers

It's been surprisingly effective for high-risk niches like casino/gambling because it removes the constant overhead of monitoring inbox health. Still early, but reply rates have been comparable to dedicated inbox setups without the management headache

If you're ever curious to compare notes on infrastructure approaches, happy to share more. Always good to connect with others pushing volume in stricter niches

It can work, but gambling cold email is way more about deliverability than the actual offer tbh
Also huge difference between fully cold traffic and old gambling-related databases

But do you want to send emails with URL inside the email body or you send plain text email and wait for users to reply to your email to send details?

For example most WH companies first send their offer and urls after user reply positively, and it has way better conversion rate because user already agreed to receive the info.

Hey, cold email for casino/gambling leads is possible if you nurture the list well and rotate properly. A few networks allow it as long as spam complaints stay very low.

For SMTPs, I’ve tested SMTP2GO, Brevo, Mailgun, Amazon SES, and smtpserver.com. So far smtpserver.com has been surprisingly stable for bigger volumes — gives warnings instead of instant blocks and is one of the cheaper options.

Anyone else running casino offers via cold email? Would be good to hear results.

Hi, what emailer you use to connect your SMTP? I mean you must have an UI for that too, and have good headers, because popular mailers have headers known by gmail/outlook/yahoo (etc...) very well, and you cannot really send more than 20-30 emails in inbox before going to spam, and after few hundred emails in spam folder you get 550 rejected.

Also, why didn't you stay with Amazon SES? If you manage to get approved for Amazon SES they also have good limits before suspension. And their server are super strong, most email services like mailchimp and others are using Amazon SES besides their own servers.

Hey @johnydriver,

Using SMTPServer’s own web UI for campaigns. Pretty straightforward and delivery has been decent for me. Pay a bit extra for list size but it’s manageable.

Their composer doesn’t have image upload, so I do spam testing + image hosting + tracking links through TestMailScore (free), then paste the HTML. A bit manual but working well.

On Amazon SES — used it before but found it too quick to warn/suspend on gambling offers even with low complaints. SMTPServer gives more breathing room with warnings first, which helps.
