It feels like highly targeted niche content is becoming more effective than chasing viral trends. While viral posts can bring a lot of views, niche content often seems to attract a more engaged audience and better long term results.

What has your experience been this year?

Niche wins for me most of the time. Viral spikes look nice in the analytics but half those people bounce and never come back. The niche crowd actually reads, replies, buys.

That said depends what you're doing... if you just monetizing raw views then viral still has its place. For anything where you need trust and repeat traffic, niche all day imo.

Been leaning way more into smaller targeted content this year and the conversion numbers are just better even with fewer eyeballs.

Niche content will get you long term audience and that is most important and will retain the audience that help also for seo ranking. Bounce rate is a important thing in seo and having niche content and relevant that add value is very important

Viral is still useful for discovery. Niche content is where the money usually shows up, because the audience already knows why they care.

Viral content is great for getting attention, but a lot of that traffic disappears quickly. Niche content usually brings people who are actually interested in the topic, which makes it easier to build an audience over time. I can see why more people are focusing on quality and relevance now.
