What are the problems caused by a large amount of repetitive content on product pages?
I am currently facing a challenge because I work in packaging boxes, and I feel that the product details page descriptions are almost the same!! I feel like I'm doing repetitive pages every day (3 days of new sites) and collecting them casually!!!

however, the problems with quality emerge on the page about the product itself becuz using only the template is not beneficial. It would be much more efective to write some detail about the product usage, its specification, comparison nd answering customer querie.

I believe this is an issue that many product oriented website face. It is difficult to keep coming up with different ways to describe a product on every single page of a websiite. Normally i try to come up with my own angle to describe each page whethar it be who the product is for where it can be used how it can be customized or the issues it solves.

This is a year 2000's problem mate. It was called shallow content update or something like that. There's plenty of guides on how to avoid this but basically you only want to index product pages with substantial user reviews and valuable content.

Some overlap is normal for product pages. I just make sure each page has something unique that helps users.

That is pretty common in eCommerce. I would focus on making each page unique with different use cases, FAQs, images and specifications instead of only rewriting the description. Small differences across the whole page add up more than people think.

regarding the product page there shouldn’t be any dificulty in repeating the same specifications becuz what count most is having relevant information. Just consider why the customer would buy the product you have in stock.

this is a problem that often happens when making product websites. Rathar than just replacing a couple of words consider trying to add value to each of ur pages in some way. it could be a new use case, custtomer question, comparison of products or example in the inddustry.

This is common for similar products to have similar descriptions. So, try to highlight the things which makes each product different like its material, use case and featured instead of using the same text on every page.

For product pages, repeated text can make everything feel thin and samey. I would not try to rewrite every sentence just to look unique. Instead, add useful differences: size details, use cases, material info, FAQs, photos, reviews, and who the product is best for. Like, the page needs its own reason to exist.

Having multiple product pages that are alike may confuse search engines and make them find it difficult to determine what makes each page unique. It is better to try and differentiate your product page by adding some elements rather than just making minor textual changes.

I think the biggest problem is when every page gives google almost the same value. Maybe keep the main product info same if needed but try to write unique use cases, industries, sizes or custom options for each page. I am still learning too, but small differences on every page looks much better than just changing few words.

That leads to keyword cannibalization and stops search engines from crawling new pages properly. Try using dynamic templates that highlight specific box dimensions, materials, or unique use cases for each page to break the duplication.

Yes, I feel like the same thing is written all over, maybe only one keyword has been changed on 10 pages.

Good point. The template helps, but unique product details and useful information are what really improve the quality.

Some Repetition is normal for similar products, but I'd make sure each pages has something unique, Focus on different use case's, features, materials, sizes, or FAQs to give every pages its own Value.

If too many page's look the same, They can end up competing with each other in search result's. I Usually rewrite the key sections and add unique Specs or examples instead of repeating the same template.

I understand your anxiety and fatigue. Creating hundreds of similar pages for boxes that differ only in size or color is a huge and monotonous effort. It feels like you're doing nothing, and it really does burn you out. From a search engine optimization (SEO) and user experience perspective, you're absolutely right: the chaotic accumulation of identical pages creates serious problems.
