AI Article Generators That Really Rank on Google?

Let me share my experience with an AI SEO article generator, which I’ll reveal the name end of this post.

Up until now, I had only dabbled in AI tools for generating images. A quick search online led me to a provider that boasts users can whip up over five articles for free. Curious about the product roundup feature, I thought I’d give it a shot with a 2000-word request. I hit a small snag when it told me I didn’t have enough credits.. I then tried to create a single article without any images, only to be met with another message about my credit shortage. It seems I need to add credits to OpenRouter AI. We’ll circle back to OpenRouter AI later.

After my frustrating attempts to use the service, I ultimately made the decision to close my account.

If you’ve used it, or if you know a better tool, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Also, I have some concerns about OpenRouter AI. Anyone willing to share their experience and clear things up for me? Ever since I signed up and created an account, I’ve received a lot of spam, from job offers to messages saying I’ve won the lottery. Has anyone else had a similar experience or am I just imagining things?

What those services adds other than a good prompt? I got good results on AI Content but we don't replace the human validation, so far everything works.

Openrouter is actually highly reputable in the dev space so the spam is definitely a coincidence, or maybe you hit a clone site by mistake. as for wordrocket, yeah its just another wrapper. @seoargentina is right, most of these tools just charge a premium for a prompt you can build yourself. if you want to use openrouter just hook your api key into a free UI like lobe chat or typingmind. its way cheaper and you actually control the temperature and system instructions instead of relying on whatever basic setup they locked behind a paywall.

I don't really understand, how did you get spam out of openrouter ai? Besides that, i personally use their api in various projects of many different areas, and they work flawlessly, you even have a roster of free apis when you use from api

Forget about article generator they are waste. They don't rank because the prompts are hard coded in them. Yeah they give you tones of options but each option has a hard-coded prompt. Just use chatbot with custom and well refined prompt. Chatgpt, claude and grok.

That's why I recommend the ai autoblogger plugin for wordpress. It uses your own prompts for both the entire generated article and each text section within it. Yes, you can specify a separate prompt for each text block, which is generated via a separate api request.

Yes 100% agree, you'd have to humanize the content though for it to stay ranked in my opinion.

Maybe if you know english but if you are working in a foreign language then straight up AI is better option then even google translate or deepl which were used before the advent if ai content.

Dont depend totally to the AI you have to manage your articles accordingly. AI making many mistakes and provide many unrelative data too so before posting any thing you have to check it carefully while posting any thing.

It doesn't allow text prompts, so that's a surefire way to get penalized by Google.

Not sure what you mean by "text prompts" but there are tens of different templates and hundreds of different article generation combinations you can choose.

Specify the keyword you want and change the writing style as you wish.

These are called presets, the ready-made templates for prompts that can be selected from a fixed list. The user can't ask the AI to write the article in the exact style they want. They can't tell the AI something like, "Here is the reference text. Use the same writing style to generate this article, format all tables using the same CSS styles, and format the FAQ using a div block with styles like these."

DURBUN.net is a bulk generation tool, the feature you want is against its target audience. It targets people who want SEO-friendly articles ASAP. If someone needs the exact style they want, they can go and let Opus 4.8 write whatever they want anyway. A tool would be useless.

I'm talking about bulk generation tools. It doesn't matter which model is used if there is no possibility to use custom prompts for SEO needs.
