I believe the odds are worse than 1 in a million on most small btc miners. its kind of like a lottery ticket, set it up and forget about it for years. is it worth it? Probably not but hey, you might be the lucky one.

This is more like winning the lottery than making a profit from mining. Chances are only one person out of millions will ever be that lucky.
