Which tool is best for SEO Audit Sem Rush or Ahrefs??

Both are solid, but I'd pick Semrush for a complete SEO audit. Ahrefs is excellent for backlink analysis and competitor research.

Both tools are not very good for this purpose. It is better to use Screaming Frog

Hmmm. DataForSEO is the new kid in the block - any references for this one please? I'm using it because it has reasonable price point and a good api, but I'd like to hear comparison from someone in the know since I'm fairly new to the game.

If it's mainly audits, I'd lean Semrush. If it's backlinks, I'd lean Ahrefs. Both are good, so like, don't overthink it too much. Buy the one that matches your daily work and test the other later if clients need different reports.

I have used both. SEMrush feels better for daily SEO monitoring, while Ahrefs is easier when analyzing links and competitors.

If your main focus is SEO audits choose Semrush because it offers more complete site audit and reporting features Ahrefs is excellent for backlink analysis so the better choice depends on your primary work.

Which tool should I buy for work??
Semrush is great if you like detailed reports. Ahrefs is better if you want to identify the biggest problems without spending time filtering through hundreds of suggestions.

Based on my experience, Ahrefs consistently provides the most dependable SEO data, thats why numerous clients favor it and regard Ahrefs reports.

For a strict SEO Audit, Semrush is the better tool. It groups technical issues (Core Web Vitals, schema, crawl depth) into clean, severity-based dashboards that are way easier to prioritize and action. Ahrefs’ site audit is solid, but it leans more basic and feels like an add-on to their backlink tools.

If I have to choose inly one for SEO audit I go with Semrush. I think its reports are little more detailed for website health.

I think it depends on your needs. If you already have Ahrefs, its audit tool is also good, so you dont really need to buy both.

Ahrefs is best as i used. Having experience in Ahrefs, Moz and SEMrush but recommended is Ahrefs for deep study .
