Back in the day craigslist was the place you wanted to post when looking for people to do short term gigs/jobs.

Is this still a thing?
If not which other "jobs/gigs" platforms one could use instead?

Thanks

Craigslist is still around, But I think it depends heavily on the city and the kind of gig. Like for quick local labor, moving help, odd jobs, or simple service work, it can still get bites. But for higher quality hiring, I'd also test Facebook groups, Nextdoor, Indeed gigs, Upwork, and maybe local subreddits. Um, I'd post the same type of offer in a few places and just track which one brings actual replies, not just views.

craigslist is stil relevant however the succes of craigslist varies based on the locality. It is usualy more succesful in small town becuz the competition will not be as great.

despite having come along way from its creation, craigslist continues to work well in apropriate market. the key is to know the demand of the market place, and small town nd particular service area can produce great result.
