Hi all,

I recently came across this website which requires users to purchase points in order to buy something in their store.

Site is: afkebooks.com

Does anyone know the plugin they are using?

I'm looking for a similar solution in wordpress/woocommerce.

Thanks

For a "buy points, then spend points in the store" setup like that, the plugins people usually reach for on WooCommerce are:

- myCred – free on the WP plugin repo, has a dedicated WooCommerce add-on that lets you sell points as a product and let users redeem them as store credit. Probably your best starting point since it's flexible and well documented.
- WooCommerce Points and Rewards – official extension (paid), simpler setup if you just want a straightforward earn/redeem points system.
- Advanced Coupons – can be used to simulate a wallet/credit system, though it's less "points store" focused than the two above.

Most sites running that exact model are usually built on myCred + WooCommerce rather than something fully custom, so that'd be my first guess for what they're using too. Might be worth checking their stack with a tool like Wappalyzer to confirm it's actually WordPress before committing to a plugin, just in case it's a custom cart system.

Thanks a lot!

Google WP point management system/loyalty programs, and there are free and premium options.

From a quick look it seem more like a customs points/wallet system than a standard WooCommerce setup, You could get pretty close with WooCommerce Points and Rewards or a wallet plugin without build everything from Scratch.

Could be WooCommerce Points and Rewards or myCred. Both let users buy points and spend them like store credit. I would test myCred first since it is more flexible for custom setups.

WooCommerce rather than a completely custom solution. I would check plugins like WooCommerce Points and Rewards or a wallet plugin first. If the site has extra features, they may have added a little custom development on top of an existing plugin.
