Do we still believe in Tier-link building ?

I'm not a fan of using software for this but tiered link building itself still works.

PBNs are a testament of this.
We basically buy these domains for the links they have on tier 2 and deeper.

I think tier link building can still work but it depends a lot on how it is done. Random links at every level usually do not bring stable results.
A more natural approach with quantity content, relevant links and proper testing seems to work better than focusing only on building more tiers.

Hey

What do you guys think? is tier link building still working in 2026?, if so what properties do you recommend should be used in each tier and about what amount in each tier?

thanks
I never had great success with them, so I don't know if I ever believed in them. Most of rankings came from actual high quality links from real websites.

But does pbns without any traffic work?, i mean if the pbns has relevant backlinks yes or do oyu mean to use them as tier 2 and place relevant tier 3 backlinks on them ?

Yes I believe in tier linking. It still has value and if done right then it makes much positive impact and indexing and ranking.
Could you explain how its done right in your opinion? =)

There is stil some space for link-building through tiered link building, but the traditional method of spaming thousand of link on tier 2 and tier 3 is no longer the same it has become increasingly important to take into account the value of lower tiers.

Tier link building still works if done carefully. Keep Tier 1 with strong relevant websites, Tier 2 with quality support links, and avoid spam. Focus more on relevance than quantity.

Tiered linking is gud, but it was the spam technique that mesed everything up for everyone. from my point of view, gud linking programs take advantage of tiered linking while taking into acount its quantity and quality.

I think tiered link building still works but it should be executted with caution. In my opinion it is better to start with a couple of good nd relevant links for the first tier nd leave the rest natural. The approach of chasing numbers seems less efficient now than that of building high quallity links.

The idea behind tiering links is to just create a more natural looking link pattern. Back in the day you could point a bajillion links at a site and Google with think "wow that's good", now it sees that none of them have any backlinks and thinks "that's sus".

So to hide the fact they are owner generated backlinks people would generate links to those linking pages, it is just a simple cover for what is really being done.

If done right it could be beneficial, over just creating links, but if the backlinks you are creating are on decent sites it should be hard to distinguish them from "natural" links.

Tier link building can still have a place, but the approach has changed, I think the first tier is where most of the focus should go with relevant quality links that actually make sense for the niche

Lower tiers should only support the structure and not be treated as a way to push large amounts of random links In the end, relevance and how natural the whole setup looks matter more than the number of tiers

i think tiered link building can still work when it is done carefully and naturally I'd focus more on quality than building several complex tiers a few relevant trustworthy links are usually a better long term approach than a large number of weaker links it also depends on the niche and the overall seo strategy

Tiered link building can still work in 2026, but only when it's done naturally with high-quality, relevant links instead of spammy automation. I'd keep Tier 1 to authoritative niche sites, Tier 2 to solid Web 2.0s, blogs, and contextual mentions, and only use a small number of supporting links rather than focusing on volume.

usually not worth it and can get you penalized
This is a common hallucination/parroted opinion. If it were true, we'd just all be tiering our competitors backlinks and enjoying their 'penalty'.

Yes it work But done carefully. some time it not work I also face this type I do this method but No success
