Hello,

We operate a Turkey-based website focused on sports and traffic content, with 1 million unique monthly visitors. We are currently looking to identify the most suitable advertising partners for our platform.

We would greatly appreciate your recommendations regarding advertising companies with whom we can establish an efficient and sustainable partnership within our sector.

Thank you in advance for your time and support.

so you're getting 1 million unique monthly visitors, how are you handling the traffic and is it all from turkey or is it international?

You should for sure test TrafficStars, Kadam and Onclicka.
Don't forget to compare their results with tools like Adgreg

Turkish sports traffic at that scale is a decent fit for testing ExoClick and HilltopAds alongside whatever you're already considering — both have real demand specifically for Turkey/MENA traffic, which not every pop-focused network does well.

One thing worth checking before committing to any single network: Turkish CPMs run noticeably lower than Western Europe/US rates even for sports content, so the bigger lever is often ad format mix rather than picking "the best" network. Native and push tend to hold up better than display on Tier 2 GEOs since fill rate stays more consistent.

At 1M monthly visitors you've got enough volume to split traffic across 2-3 networks and actually compare real numbers rather than going off advertised rates — that's usually where the actual answer to "which network is best for us" shows up, since claimed Turkey CPMs and realized ones can differ a lot.

honestly the betting angle is what i'd chase before any pop network. sports traffic out of turkey, theres a ton of iGaming/bookmaker affiliates who'll pay way more than generic display, and a chunk of them do direct deals if you have steady 1M. networks are fine for filling but you leave money on the table if betting offers are a fit for your audience and you only run pops.

also worth asking yourself how much of that traffic is logged in / returning vs random. push subs are basically free inventory once you build the list, and TR push converts decent for sports. so id set that up early even while testing the networks people mentioned.

one thing... watch payment terms and min payout on the smaller networks. some of em look great on advertised CPM then hold you on net30+ or fx you to death on the payout. always do a small test, cash out once, then scale.

the betting angle someone mentioned above is the real play here, especially out of TR. before you go chasing networks i'd actually try to nail down what your traffic looks like... like is it match day spikes or steady all week? because that changes who you should even talk to.

direct iGaming/bookmaker deals will pay more but they care a lot about traffic quality and where it sits, so have your analytics ready before you pitch them. screenshots of GA, geo split, device split etc.

on the network side yeah test a couple in parallel but dont spread too thin. pick 2, run them for a few weeks, compare realized cpm not the rate card. and watch the payout terms like someone said, ive been burned by net45 + a min payout that took forever to hit on a smaller pop network.

push list is the one thing id start building today regardless of which way you go. costs you nothing and TR sports push holds up.

For Turkey sports traffic I’d separate it into 3 buckets instead of looking for one magic ad network: bookmaker/direct CPA, push/native, then remnant pop/display.

The direct betting side will almost always beat CPM if the traffic is clean, but don’t give them 100% right away. Run a fixed test cap, track registrations/deposits if they share postback, and compare it against your normal eCPM. Some brands will quote nice CPA then your traffic mysteriously “doesn’t back out” after 2 weeks... happens a lot.

For fill, Adsterra, Propeller, Hilltop, Exo etc are all worth testing, but I’d rotate by placement not just whole-site. Sports article pages and live score/match pages behave totally different. Live traffic can take more aggressive formats, article SEO traffic usually dies if you hit them too hard with pops. Keep an eye on bounce/return visits, not only daily revenue.

At 1M uniques I wouldnt lock into one partner, use an ad server and split by page type. For TR sports I’d test MGID/Revcontent for native too, not only pop guys, because sports article traffic can monetize cleaner there without killing return users. Live score / match pages can take more aggressive formats like pop or push, but news pages usually lose value fast if you overdo it.

Also @inurdemirel if your traffic is mostly mobile, ask every network for Turkey mobile fill numbers before wasting time. Some will say “we support TR” but half the impressions go unpaid or super low eCPM. Small test, first payout, then scale... boring but saves headaches.

one thing nobody really flagged... the betting angle everyone keeps pushing does work but foreign bookmakers get blocked by BTK in TR constantly, so a lot of those affiliates run mirror domains and the offers can just disappear on you overnight. still worth testing if it fits your audience, just dont build your whole revenue around one brand thats one court order away from going dark.

id also not sleep on local direct. turkish advertisers and agencies wont pay international CPMs but they pay in lira, net terms are usually saner, and they actually care that youre a real TR sports site with real match day traffic. even a couple direct deals on your live score / match pages can beat remnant. more legwork than plugging in a network but that money tends to stick.

and honestly at 1M uniques get a proper ad server or prebid setup running so youre not swapping tags by hand. the page type stuff people mentioned is right but its way less painful to actually test when the rotation isnt manual.
