It looks like that branding is very important for new blogs. Do you also spend premium for domain purchase of new blogs?

I believe that a great domain name should be considered an investment although not necessarily an expensive one right from the start. A memorablle nd unique name is good for building trust nd growing a blog although ultimately it is the content nd user expperience that will make it.

No, because a simple and easy to remember domain is enough. I prefer to spend my budget on good content and improving the website which usually has a bigger impact on a new blog.

Domain still play important role, in short term gains, In long term you need to create a quality webiste. And if you have exact match domain with quality work will help you on long term.

Premium domain names come at an additional cost and it depends on whether it carries "brandability" potential or fits perfectly to my venture. For newly launched websites, instead of paying extra cash towards buying a premium domain name, it will be better off using the money on content creation and obtaining quality backlinks and seo practices.

Having a memorable and branded domain is desirable but this alone will not boost rankings even if the price is higher. In majority of the instances, having a great brand built on normal domains performs far superior compared to premium domains executed poorly.

Not really. I'd rather spend that money on content or promotion. A good brand can be built even with a normal domain.

Premium domains are a waste of time sometimes

all those registars can consider a domain premium just because they want to

I'd rather spend that budget on solid content and good backlinks instead.

Really depends on the blog, normally I don’t really value name branding that much but it can make a difference in traffic for some niches.

Niches like?

If the niche is competitive, I think spending extra on a good domain can be worth it because it gives a more professional impression.

I dont buy premium domains, a clean brandable domain is usally more then enough.
