The mistake I see most is treating IG as THE channel instead of one of many. IG is a rented audience - one algo update and you're back to zero (exactly what March did to everyone). The fix is to stop optimizing a single platform and build a system that survives bans:
- Spread the risk on IG itself: multiple warmed, aged accounts per model, story-first content (not link-in-bio spam). One account gets nuked and you don't lose the model's whole OnlyFans funnel.
- Own the audience, don't rent it: push traffic into something YOU control (a Telegram channel or a mass-DM list) as fast as possible, then route to the OF page. Rented to owned is the whole game.
- SFW to spicy funnel on TikTok: faceless/SFW hooks that send to IG, then to the OF page. Survives bans better because the top of the funnel is clean.
- Reddit still converts for OnlyFans traffic, but only with aged accounts posting slowly in the right subs - burner accounts die in 2 days, everyone here knows that pain.
- Paid that actually works: Meta DM ads (IG/Messenger objective) into an automated capture flow instead of a cold link-in-bio. You qualify the lead in DMs before spending a click on the OF page.
For OnlyFans management specifically, diversification isn't a nice-to-have anymore, it's survival. Curious what CPLs you guys are seeing on paid post-March.
