Do You Still Focus on Long-Form Content?

I've had pages rank well with both. Matching search intent has been far more important than making every article long.

i still use long-form content when the topic actually needs it If a shorter article answers the search intent better I'd rather keep it concise than add unnecessary filler.

According to my personal experience, length of the content does not matter in ranking anymore. I have seen a lot shorter content outrank content which is as much as 3000 words because it matches the searcher's intent perfectly without wasting his/her time.
In case where depth of information is required, I always prefer using long form content but for others, short content works fine as well.

From my experience, it's less about the length and more about how well the content answers the user's intent. I've seen both long-form articles and shorter posts rank well-if they're useful, clear and provide real value. Quality and relevance usually matter more than word count.

From what I've seen, it's not really about how long the content is. If it answers what people are looking for and provides real value, it has a better chance of ranking well. A shorter, useful post can often outperform a long article that's filled with unnecessary information.

I do not always write long articles. I focus on making the content useful, whether it needs 500 words or 2000 words.

There is not a fact about long term content or short term is all about if the content can provide real value and are ready by peoples. If they are read and peoples don't close fast your site the site will rank higher

I still prefer long form content when topic needs depth. A detailed article can cover more user questions and build stronger topical relevance.
But i do not think length alone matters. A short and well focused post can also perform well if it solves the user problem better.

I prefer a mix of the 2 since algorithms always change.
Sometimes, a short-form content that answers 1 to 2 questions, and the title is very targeted at the questions you answered in the article wins.
Some other time, it's a long-form content that covers the topic deeply that wins.

I don't focus on word count anymore. I write only as much as the topic needs some page rank with 800 words, while other need 2500+. Matching search intent has worked better for me than simply publishing longer content.
Longer does not necessarilly mean better all the time. Some shorter articles that i have written have performed well just bcz they were able to provide an answer fast enough to the searcher. I normally consider making the content valuabble than reaching certain word counts.

I am still producing long form copy, but only on pages where I can maintain it. A 2,000 word guide that has become out of date is sometimes less useful than a smaller article updated every few months. experience has shown me that maintenance is more important than word count.
Long-form still has its place, but I've stopped measuring success in word count and started measuring it in "did anyone actually finish reading this." A tight 600 words that answers the question beats 3,000 words of throat-clearing before the actual point on page 2.
