Quora AI gets more attention than human answers.

I have noticed that Quora is showing AI summaries on more questions because of this I am thinking that if people spend the same amount of time in reading the answers written by real users. If the AI summary already gives a quick answer then many people might not scroll down to read the full discussion.

Are your Quora answers getting the same views as before or have they dropped since AI summaries appeared?

Sooner and later people will get it its ai answer or not.
 
I think Quora is changing, but there is still value in writing good answers. People still want real examples, case studies, and opinions from actual users.
 
If it's the same level as those bots on this forum, I'm ignoring it and reading human comments

I think it depends on the questions, for simple questions Ai summaries probably get most of the attention. But for real experiences, people still scroll down to read the answers.
 
I guess they just summarise the answers into a generalized AI response. The personal remarks and experiences are valued more for many questions. If the question is generic, then AI answer is enough.
 
For simple questions, AI summary is enough but on questions where people want personal experience or practical advice then good answers can get much attention.

AI abstract are a quick fix to try out but cannot take place of the wisdom one obtain from practicing. It is the knowledge that come from platform such as Quora, which go beyond AI that will hold any kind of significance.
 
Views have been a bit less consistent for me. AI summarizes probably reduce clicks on basic questions so i have started targeting topics where people need opinions, comparisons or real world experience rather than just a quick answer.
 
i would say a helpful answer that solves someone's problem will always have a better chance of getting engagement than generic content.

Exactly! Humans are social creatures and they are more likely to trust real world examples and personal experiences.
 
I have noticed some drop in views or sample, fact based questions because the AI summary often answers them immediately. However answers that include personal experience, case studies or practical tips still seem to get decent engagement. I think the focus now should be on adding value that an AI summary can not easily replace.
 
I think answers that focus solely on who made the book initially attract views, but once people understand and grasp the content, they will gravitate towards more valuable answers rather than generic and uniform ones. Answers that offer higher value are more effective than general and generic ones.

Yes, AI summaries reduce the number of people who read full answers but I think if an answer adds real experience then may be peopel read it. Bacause I think quality of the answer still matters.
 
AI has definitely changed things, but I think real experiences still stand out when the question needs more than a simple answer.
