post music video myself of via distrokid

Hey ! I am looking to make a music video channel. I am wondering if it's better that i first make the youtube channel and upload my music video then distribute via distrokid. Or start straight with distrokid and elt them upload to youtube.
It would be static image and music on top.
I heard if post on my own it could be demonetize and if i go via distrokid it's monetized.
Is it true ?

That nice you can set up your channel first and build it as your own brand so from there you can now use a distribution service to help you again visibility on various platform but you have to promote yourself too with the use of social media

I am afraid if i post on my own with static image + music i will not get monetized.
I heard if i upload via distrokid it's already monetized. Is this correct ?

If you composed/produced your own music, you can register to distribute or upload it to your YouTube channel and enable monetization as usual.
