Adding your own website to the "others also search for" in google search bar

Hey =)

So i been noticing many competitors having their url in the google search box, so for example if someone is searching for: dental clinics in houston, one of the items getting shown when typing the search is my competitors url. My question is how is this doable?

is it because that webmaster has added a type of bot or something making the same search but with his url after it so to speak, multiple times from various ips or?

Seems like a pretty good hack so to speak and would love to know how to do it myself

Google autocomplete is based on actual search volume n user behavior, not smthing webmasters can add manually. it generate suggestions based on how often ppl search that exact term combo.
only legit way is having enough real ppl search ur brand over time, for local biz this happens naturally as u get more reviews n citations n branded searches.yea the bot/fake search volume trick does exist, ppl use proxy networks to simulate searches, but google detect these patterns pretty good now n it can backfire bad if caught. not worth the risk tbh for a dental clinic.honest answer ur competitor prob just been around longer so more ppl searched them by name directly. brand building n local seo over time is what actually gets you that autocomplete spot
 
It's a form of CTR manipulation. People search for "dental clinics in houston" but they can't find your competitor in SERPs, so they search for competitor URL and visit their site. In ideal case, the competitor site first shows up in people also search for and then eventually ranks in SERPs.
 
It’s called autocomplete suggestions which are based on search volume and user behavior. if enough people search a specific query that includes a URL or brand name Google starts suggesting it. Can be manipulated through a botnet depending on GEO/keywords.
 
The thing about these searches are that they are also surrounded by country flags as this: (flag) URL (flag) so for sure this is not something people are searching for, so problably some bot creating these searches to tip the scale so that the url shows up i nthe search box on top in google
 
I'd say that the best you could do is optimize your seo and serp, and get as many visits as possible, so you'll appear there. If you build consistent linkbuilding or if you run ads for your site, you'll soon be there
 
No, it's not done with bots or fake searches.Google shows URLs in suggestions based on real user behavior, search popularity, and the site's SEO authority.Strong local SEO and consistent traffic can help a site appear there.Trying to manipulate it with bots is against Google's guidelines and rarely works.
 
Just to clear up how the results is shown, not to be mistaken for the normal rolldown window that appears in the beginning of typing a search term

(there is country flags enclosing the website url (GB) couldent add them here in the example above sadly)

Thats how it appears, so the "gb" is the flags that are shown in the search bar, which leads me to believe that this is a manipulated search, since i dont think people are adding country flags inclosing search terms in google
 
What happened to Google Search? When I search for my brand, it shows many phishing websites. Even though I search for "NEY4D", the results from rank #2 onward are websites with completely different brand names that don't even contain the word "NEY4D". Why is Google showing unrelated brands instead of pages that actually match my search?
 
This is suggested by Google, and not the business.

As others have suggested, you can only simulate these searches by using a bot to search KWs + your brand or website name.

You can also build a high volume of tier 2 links with anchor texts and those searches.

Whichever way you take, doing this too much is risky, and can backfire.

But you can still achieve something good in the long run if you do it slowly.

those suggestions are generated automatically by google based on real user searches. there's no reliable or legitimate way to manually add your website there
